These were all breakups that didn't split amicably and they go out and prove their point, gives a big fug you to Gettle

Hardly  the only reason, but he was the best player in the secondary last year and they let him walk.  And didn't provide an adequate replacement.  And lost Tillman and didn't provide an adequate replacement.  

 

Don't get me wrong, I certainly haven't given up on the young guys, they may be good eventually.  Norman wasn't very good early in his career.  But they should have kept Norman at the very least.

We gave up 300 yards to one receiver. Norman would never have allowed that.

There is one missing starter from last year ... I don't see how his loss isn't contributing to our defense regressing 

(I'm not counting the corpse of Roman Harper as a loss)

I seriously doubt that arrogance had anything to do with it. It's more like he knew that Josh would be a liability at some point because he loses his mind at times and commits stupid penalties. Trust me, he will lose a game for the Skins because of a stupid penalty before the season is over. Norman also got torched by Jones the last time they played each other. It was a calculated risk by Gettleman designed to allow him to pay guys like KK in the future.

 

In other words, it may have been a mistake, but he didn't do it just to piss you off.

Anybody with any football knowledge and rational thought ability knew that our corners would have growing pains the first part of the season. So to start jumping up and down and screaming as soon as our corners have a bad week while JNo has a good week just shows how simpleton your thought process is.
