Cowboys vs Panthers Prediction Thread?

I haven't seen it so far this week so I figured I would start one. Hope I don't ruffle the feathers of the MAN but I've been dying to make my prediciton this week.

The last two weeks I have successfully predicted Panther losses and while I don't revel in the fact that I was right I think its nice to know that I understand what the Panthers can and can't do realisticly. I can't rememebr the score I had last week but I think it was by about 6-7 points and I also predicted Jake would throw 1 TD and 1 INT.

Enough kissing my own ass, here's my perdiction for Monday night.

Jake 19-32 232 2 TD 1 INT

Williams 17 carries 76 yards 3 rec 32 yards 1 TD

Smith 9 catches 116 yards 1 TD

Defense 2 sacks (Peppers, Johnson), 1 INT (Davis)

Final Score: Panthers 24 Cowboys 20

I think they can do it, I really do.

I agree about running the ball but I think the big plays will be there and it's 32 because I think Jake will have to make a 2:00 drive for a TD to win the game, a couple throws in a row. I also think that for some reason they are trying to get Stewart more carries which is why Williams numbers seem low. I think stewart will have about 14 attempts for about 63 yards and a TD.

I predict that someone on the team, most likely Smitty or Beason, will say enough is enough, get pissed off and crack somebody's head...hopefully one with a star on it.

Yeah Beason and Davis did that last week but it was to Marshall, man that was a punishing hit!!! Too bad it wasn't to the Falcons player.

    • This is one of my key concerns lost in the sauce that is the neverending conversation about him evading pressure and the OL. Eventually any QB is going to have to step up into the pocket and show the defense they can still beat them even if they get through. We have a limited QB who cannot consistently do this and as such we are relegated to going back and forth about how successful he was at evading pressure but we have little else to write home about. Tyler Shough stepped up into the pocket and made plays despite being pressured and sacked. He's played in about 35 less games than Bryce Young. That is a problem. And isn't just going to go away. The Bucs are going to do the same thing after watching the film.
    • Oh, absolutely! That doesn't absolve the absolute dogshit hockey that the team played in front of him, though. Only Cane that played well tonight was Bradly Nadeau.
    • Thanks for illustrating my point.  No one in the last several pages of this discussion is suggesting we should hang on to him, but anytime someone says anything less than "take him out back and shoot him" you act like they are. That's either you not understanding what you're reading or just being a nimrod because you can't keep up. (I would have said 'or just sh-tposting' but you're way too emotional on this topic for that) Either way, the result is the same 😆
