Congratulations Jerry Richardson!!!!!

I have been on these boards for years. Each year I watch fans from this fan base bash owners like Jerry Jones, Daniel Snyder, Woody Johnson, and etc. for having inconsistent franchises with drama.

Well on a board where Jerry Richardson is untouchable and considered the greatest owner of all time, I just want to congratulate him on once again not being able to field a team that has had a back to back winning season in 22 years. It takes a special type of incompetence to complete that task.

Now let's not sell the Big Cat short here. Not only has he been an owner of an inconsistent franchise, he also has had his own share of drama here as well. We can talk about Rae Carruth. We can talk about the franchise that lost 15 straight games. We can talk about Steve Smith punching multiple teammates. We can talk about the season that Jerry Richardson decided to punt away in the better interest of the NFL. We can talk about how he completely left John Fox out to dry by not firing him or giving him an extension while allowing him to field an awful NFL roster. We can talk about how awful he handled the Julius Peppers situation and single handedly ran him out of town. We can talk about how he was against the refs coming back and how he wanted to roll with the awful replacement refs. Or we can taking about Greg Hardy. Even better we can talk about how he fired his sons.

No matter how you look at it, Jerry Richardson has been in charge of an extremely inconsistent franchise which has had a ton of drama that has followed it. If this guy was an owner of any of the other 31 teams this board would be ripping him apart. But somehow he has become immune to criticism from this fan base and the pathetic Charlotte media. He even somehow managed to get himself an eye sore of statue built of him outside the stadium.

Now I know I will never be able to convince this fan base to realize how awful of an owner Jerry Rihardson actually is. So instead I will congratulate him on being the owner of a franchise that has once again failed to post back to back winning seasons in 22 years. Keep pounding Jerry, keep pounding.

Lol what does JR have to do with any of this? He worked his ass off to get this city a franchise and outside of that there's not much in his control. He even brought in outside help to hire our last GM

Quit the he worked his ass off to get Charlotte a team. I'm tired of hearing about it.

We were going to get a team whether it was him or someone else. JR was the lucky one chosen to put a team here. He made a damn rich living here.

After reading several of your posts tonight I've came to the conclusion none of what you say should be taken seriously

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
