Ron's presser today

Captain Morgan

Rivera glad to see some consistency from running game after that has lacked at times in his estimation.

Ron Rivera says Jonathan Stewart took a shot on the shin in the first half, had to get it worked on trainers at halftime. Ran hard and well.

Rivera also said offensive line set the energy level last night with its play.

Ron Rivera says he wishes team record's was better b/c more guys would be in consideration for Pro Bowl.

That Josh Norman PBU was a route Shula threw in to test Norman. Was underthrown a bit, said Rivera. "Thank goodness he dropped it."

fug you Vic Beasley

It's hilarious, Falcons fans think he's better than Von Miller now because he's got some sacks and turnovers this year... Dude is absolutely horrendous in rush defense and when he's not getting sacks, he's not getting pressures either. So on the 13 plays or whatever that he got sacks he's been an impact. On the rest? JAG. And all his turnovers have been against flat out terrible QBs.

    • They will be if they extend Young but I don't think we're there just yet. Morgan and Canales are tied and I don't believe Tepper is going to go look for a new front office for Bryce as things stand.
    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
