Why we won't draft Offense in 1st Round

because your QB is superman and cannot be stopped until he does, like in 2016 haha. He does not need good receivers, he is superman. The panthers are on the edge of greatest, us NFC teams thank your front office. Cam wont last in the NFL past 30 at the rate he has been taking beatings so that is one team we no longer have to worry about.

how the great have fallen, hahaha, or maybe the great panthers were never great? Maaaaaaaybe the qb was playing out of his mind? Hm?

Their starting line is built as follows. Not sure where you are coming from with this statement.

9th
16th
31st
4th rd

Smoke your ganja and laugh while you can boy.  You high kook wackos don't even see the major cracks in your own foundation or know who you were for decades.  If you mistakenly think you've seen the best of the Cam and the Panthers, seek help in the suicide capital before it's too late.

How much of a hater do you have to be to troll a carolina-only site as a seattle fan?

That is next level hater crap.

Im sure they have seattle forums where you can start threads about how much you hate us.

Suicide hotline, I think its called.

Hypothetically if the following players are available at our pick, who should we pick:

DE-Barnett

RB-Cook

RB-Fournette

S-Adams

WR-Williams

Fournette 1a
Barnett 1b
Cook 3
Trade down 4
Williams 5
Adams 6

Williams over adams due to us getting no separation and my fear of more youth in the secondary (prefer a vet)

My .02

I like Fournette as the top pick as well but the only question is what's DG philosophy on taking a RB that high. I know he says BPA but would that include a RB? Williams would create more separation than KB but would he go to the well with a 1st rd pick again?

Depends on the combine results/our evaluation, but I'd personally go Fournette, Adams and then Barnett. I think if we want a good DE, we could get one at 40 (like Walker) or trade up from 40 to 26-27 with our compensatory 3rd to get Charlton/Thomas. There are also a few SSs that we could get at 40. Personally, I think Fournette could have the biggest impact. I like the other two a lot and they are definitely well above Cook and Williams IMHO.

I think DG would go with Barnett but I am just saying that because of his "hogmollies" help you compete statement he's made in the past.

We have no evidence to suggest that DG values RB highly... With the cut of Dwill, we may have evidence to the contrary.

We do have evidence that he will trade to move up in any round that isn't the first. It is not unreasonable to think this may happen with our extra 3ed.

I have a hatd time believing we will go with Williams... but I would not be upset with the pick.

I felt that DG violated his BPA mantra last year in favor of need with the 3 CBs in a row. The only thing that would really upset me is if he went with a reach at OT. I am of the firm opinion that our top FA priority needs to be LT. The draft is hit or miss and, as we know, includes no top 10 talent at LT. I am confident that DG will not let the combine move these rankings as he has said "football is not played in your underwear "

We have seen, though, that DG can go back to back (DT and CB), if there is a need and trade to get "his guys" at those positions.

I think we should seriously consider this possibility at DE and/or OT... although, if it is at OT, I hope it is not at 1.8.

Fournette and Barnett are in another tier due to talent and positional value.  Nothing will change my mind between now and April.  I also think we sign a FA SS and obviously we need multiple DE's so it doesn't matter what we do there before the draft, a 20 year old Barnett would still be a need.  I think one of the two will be there.

If we sucked and threw away a year to draft a WR there could be nothing worse.

I don't need gettle to go offense in the first I just need to see some attempt to groom a tackle even if it's just a decent tackle or depth...an attempt to do something with the OT position....just something, anything except ignoring it for yet another year
