And run it down their thorats like a "true" Panther's team.

Keep Pounding or as they say Keep Stomping.

Yeah Fournette is holding hands with Barnett for me.  If we go Fournette hopefully Barnett is either gone or goes to the Bengals at 9.  He's a player that I don't want going to the Saints.

If the panthers are going DL at the top of the draft they are going after Solomon Thomas from Stanford.

Great looking player and might be a Panther but no reason on God's green earth he should go in front of Barnett.

I think we'll know once we get closer to the combine what we want. If Fournette runs a 4.4 40 and has a strong showing in drills and bench press how could anyone pass ? If Barnett runs a 4.5 40 and is quick off the edge in drills and blows the combine away with speed how could you to wrong there? Either pick will be fantastic IMO. I think some team is going to get a hard on for Fournette and take that dude top 5 because of Zeke last year. Just my 2 cents.

Even if we take Barnett, I'd take Thomas at 40 if he was there. That would be BPA and with our DTs, it would be a hell of a DL. We could use Luke and TD and Shaq a lot more in coverage.

Would be uneasy about that with all our other needs. I believe we can find a quality SS, RB, or WR in the 2nd.

This mock has us trading back with the Browns and still getting Barnett.  I find it unlikely but also correct in saying it'd be an all time steal if true.

Two things it mentions however I did not know.  One, he equaled Von Miller's sack mark in 3 seasons in took Miller 4 to get.  And two, it's 10th all time in CFB history!!!

double-digit sacks 3 straight yrs.

yep, bust written all over him.

The only defence ive seen from the Barnett fans is they point to his production.

By this logic Troy Smith should have a few super bowl rings to go along with his Heisman

Sigh.  Here we go again.  Of course the production is most important because producing is what you're supposed to do as a performer, and his is historic.  Age, football character, affecting play in multiple ways to include run D and in coverage, the list goes on.  And it's not like he was a total Johnny Come Lately in college.  He was a solid 4 star prospect out of high school and a top 5 player in Tennessee from a very respected high school program to boot, Brentwood Academy, that produced Jalen Ramsey, King Dunlap, and Scott Wells among others.

Troy Smith was 5'11, 225.  Barnett has eerily similar measurables to every Pro Bowl DE this season.
