What about the  goal line TD  vs KC  & Ted Ginn throw in Oakland.

i was at that raider game. That throw to Ginn was a thing of beauty. I was pretty faded and I went nuts during that play, and then a Raider fan next to me said "calm down man, remember where you are"

i kept it cool after that. turned out to be good advice lol

That off balance jump throw to Ed. The pass to Ginn in Seattle. I'm shocked the one he threw to KB against SF wasn't one; the one where TD declared him a grown ass man.

I think if we had won that game in NO that could've been something special for the season.

Cam is still Cam. He had some good moments.

I agree, he if works on his accuracy and foot mechanics offense will be able to stretch the defense out with High - Low concept.

Just need speed & protection on that side.

Cam's accuracy is largely blurred IMO. He is nowhere near as inaccurate as discussed.  Cam simply has to be insanely accurate in our offense.

Yeah, he sometimes throws high and gets lazy but overall the biggest issue is he is forced to throw insane passes far too frequently (and often does) to move the ball.

Forgot about a few of those plays. Even so, the bomb to Ginn against Oakland is one of my favorites not just this season but is trending up into all-time territory. Why? For all of Cam's arm strength, he keeps throwing them a bit short. Not only was the throw gorgeous, effortless and hit Ginn in stride, he only need just under four seconds in the pocket to heave it fifty yards. With a little more work shaving down his internal clock, those underthrows can be a thing of the past.

Yeah man it's like he's always having to throw into those tight spaces and it's like he's damned if you do damned if we don't people complain about him throwing into tight spaces and then people complain about him not making those throws in those tight spaces so so many other teams have people who can get wide open I will watching and watching and waiting for Cam to have people wide open and it's just not happening this season

Stewy had 47 Rec. in Cam's first year. So Cam can throw the dump offs. The question is, why doesn't he? He talks about it all the time. "I need to take those lay-ups". Then he doesn't take those lay-ups.

Cam is the only one that can control where the ball goes.

    • if  ANYONE actually goes & looks at the FACTS on rookie Qb's after 2 full seasons as a starter in the NFL & they are still well below average do they rarely ever actually become top tier Qb's & instead most likely either do not recieve a second contract & or become life long backups...just saying
    • So he became GM and decided not to address the weakness in the QB room following one of the worst rookie QB performances in NFL history?  There were options last season other than signing Dalton to a 2 year deal. Brissett and Jones by a wide margin, both of whom outplayed Bryce, Wilson, Winston, hell even Rivers off the couch was more exciting at the QB position. The time to address the failure in the QB room was last year but instead people on the Huddle cheered when we brought Dalton back then cheered when we were able to get anything for him after they finally realized he was washed up like a few of had been saying all along and got poo'd for even mentioning.  This year, the options were more limited obviously, especially since we lost Icky. It changed the dynamic of our draft. I think we were stuck this year keeping Bryce, but i still think giving him a 5th year option for what has amounted to replacement worthy performance was the wrong move. Why guarantee 25m if you're planning to replace him? You think he's going to want to be a bridge QB? Hell no. He's going to want out and we'll end up cutting him if he has another lackluster season because no one is trading for him with that price tag.  Were there better options as far as production available. A couple. Were there guys available with more physical tools than Bryce, Pickett or Grier, you damn well better believe there were. I've been saying all along, you always keep looking for your 1b. Bryce has yet to prove he can be a starter. Keep looking for someone who may. Put competition in camp. Let the best QB lead the team. Stop settling for less than mediocre.
