Last year he admitted he strayed from BPA due to extreme need. Would you consider OT extreme need?

I get a sense from Gettleman that he was not happy with how his hand was forced in last years draft.  He never really comes right out and says it, but if you listen between the lines during his latest press conference, you definitely feel it. Follow that draft with a a 6-10 record and I can almost guarantee he doesn't deviate from his philosophy again.

Ryan Ramczyk  6'6 314 stud offensive tackle out of Wisconsin. First team All American.

- He reminds me of Taylor Decker/Jack Conk  from last years draft  class with a Grity attitude.

Conklin with 89.2  overall PFF rating,  #5 overall OT

Decker  with 82.4 overall PFF rating, #22 overall OT

It's a good point.  For all the best player available mantra, Gettleman last year took three corners because he wanted to fix/invest in the secondary.  He could make same decision this year on o-line.  Might not be in first but multiple o-line selections wouldn't surprise.

I can see if LF drops to 8 he is the pick considering no matter who is running the panthers offense we are a running team. 2 nd and 3rd round becomes a little tricky the front office might feel good about the o line once everyone is healthy since they rode that group to the Super Bowl in which case we might go TE or SS but if not I can see Dave double down on OT like he did with CB's last year.

    • Your intelligence is artificial.
    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
    • Proper stud that would look even better if they could upgrade Scott. And get a resemblance of pressure on the QB
