Sean doesn't want Shula? Everybody is getting opportunities except Shula. I'll drive him myself to wherever he is called.

It's irrelevant whether he wants him or not given its a lateral move and he is being retained.

True. Then again I wonder if his dislike for Reid after being thrown under the bus would sour his feelings for all thing Reid. He hasn't publically called out Reid but I can't believe he felt good about being the sacrificial lamb

I watched his introductory presser on the Bills website.  He gave Reid a ton of praise/credit, so I don't think he's sour at all.  Probably wouldn't have even mentioned him if he was.  Great presser by the way.  I'm rooting for him... not the Bills, McDermott.

The Vols also spoke with Ken Dorsey, Kevin O’Connell and Chris Weinke among others. Dorsey is reportedly receiving an NFL promotion, and both O’Connell and Weinke, who had strong interest in the job, now are expected to land back in the NFL.

Damn, I thought I was clever to suggest Weinke as a replacement...he is working with that training facility in Florida right? Wouldn't this be a major pay raise?

He was QB Coach for the Rams this past season.

If Tyrod goes, as expected, then he doesn't have a chance. Plenty of offensive talent but EJ Manuel and Cardale Jones are garbage.

I still have no clue why there are in such a rush to get rid of Tyrod though. I think he ends up in Cleveland and does really well with Hue.

I don't think he's that bad of a QB but you know sometimes heads roll when they don't need to and you know it will continue to suck because the The people that aren't the problem people are getting cut... Life sucks like that sometimes

While Dorsey did interview, there’s no news of a hire at the moment. McDermott is believed to be targeting candidates whose teams are still active in the playoffs, notably Packersquarterbacks coach (and former Bills quarterback) Alex Van Pelt. Still, as I said earlier, McDermott knows Dorsey pretty well. If he didn’t think Dorsey was up to the task, he probably wouldn’t have bothered to interview him. It’s definitely something worth keeping an eye on.
