I meant just how often is there a short option in the passing game. People are always complaining that every route is down field and I'm wondering how often that is actually true opposed to simply Cam not throwing the short option.

Similarly, how often does Cam have a 3,5,7 step drop? How does this compare? I guess shotgun and read-option plays skew this. Maybe a better question or metric would be looking at the time from snap to Cam's release as compared to other QBs.

So my question is is there anything you folks would like me to look at specifically? It'll be tough to look at our secondary without understanding the zones called on any particular play but I can look at DL, OL, TEs, ST, etc. Throw some ideas at me so I can think about and plan out what I will look at and I'll start posting my results as they come in.
