with Gonzaga getting slightly hosed due to the Kennedy Meeks out of bounds no call, do y'all feel bad for them?

Berry got choked slammed by the Polish guy, and Theo didn't foul on that three that went out of bounds, or touch the ball.  There are a ton of missed calls in every game.

Gonzaga got the ball back when the refs said Pinson blocked that shot and then banked in a 3 to tie the game. Refs were horrible the whole game and definitely took all the bigs out of the game for the most part. I mean, that 4th foul on Collins was horrible. That was the way the game went. No reason to single out the Meeks play.

The Meeks play was definitely significant as it prevented a possible massive momentum swing in favor of the Zags with 48 seconds left. I was just curious as to how the die hards felt about it.

The banked 3 was just as significant if not more.

But in the last 48 seconds, with a national championship on the line UNC gets another possession due to a blatant miss. Was just wondering how y'all felt about it

Bad calls are bad. Those refs were terrible. I have no sympathy because it was in the last minute. The refs affected the game - period.

If You are familiar with the horrible "fan" sites of PackPride and TheDevilsDen - I strongly urge you to venture over there and read the absolute filth being posted by those garbage human beings.

State and Duke "fans" are clearly obsessed with unc, and especially after a what was supposed to be a dream season in Durham turning into a nightmare.....add in the safety of posting anonymously on the internet...u can get a glimpse into how truly pathetic and sad their lives are. Many of the TDD posters also appear to be racist.

I hope no panthers fans here are associated with those forums. It's truly a bad look. Shame on you.

Makes me laugh that at State games they chant "go to hell Carolina" during EVERY game not just games vs UNC but every damn game. We must be doing something right if we're always on their mind.

Every time a duke fan complains about the refs, an angel gets its wings

Not complaining, we got bounced early in the tournament. Its just interesting that when a team benefits from bad calls they say it affected both programs(which it did) but if the roles were reversed and UNC had lost this board would be up in arms about it. Just trying to figure out if its gleeful indifference or unintentional ignorance. Both of which are fine since all fan bases go through both depending on the outcome but there really isn't any remorse at all that the game wasn't won straight up?

And again, not disputing that Carolina won the national championship. Save the "Duke fan complaining" comments.

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
