Best Chance at a Hornets Trade Today

It's unlikely that the Hornets are going to make a move on their own today the way things are stacking up. We aren't willing to move/teams don't want any of our core as of right now so a straight up deal is unlikely.

However, teams that are trying to make big trades like the Celtics with Indiana, Chicago, etc is where we can come in.

For example, if the Pacers or Bulls ship out Butler/George to Boston they'll need to clear roster spots. That's where we come in. If we can be the 3rd team in a 3 way trade or ship off pieces like Wood, Sessions or Roberts that teams can waive/buyout for pieces that are expendable, but could be useful to us just to clear space in a massive return for one of their stars in  a separate trade then that's where we'd get a deal done.

Let's help the good teams get better. .. isn't that pretty much what we did with the Anderson deal.  Those teams come knocking we should tell them to go fug themselves, we won't though.  This is exactly what we will do. We will facilitate the celtics getting George and we will get jack out of it.

Well no trades for us today. Technically still have 2 open roster spots since the 10 day contracts of Tobey and McCallum expire today.

Tobey will be signed through EOY for necessity purposes. Be interested to see what we do with McCallum. Could keep him and roll with him as our 3rd PG or Charlotte could try and find some help in the buyout market.

I can't believe we went through with that Plumlee trade.. We would be rid of Hibbert and Hawes would be an awesome expiring deal for a trade next year. Instead we are tied to the worst contract in the league for the next 4 years!!!!!!!!

You can see how the Bucks already flipped Hibbert's deal for a 2nd or something..

That Plumlee move reaked of "PANIC!!!" and now we are just sitting here with our flaccid d!cks out..

Plumlee, Marvin, MKG - ALL of them are making more money than Kemba.................. smgdh

this franchise...

Forever stuck in mediocrity is this franchise. If Jordan is as serioud a about winning as an owner as he was as a player he would get rid od our entire front office ans staff

It's Jordan's fault, he's the main culprit for drafting mistakes. He repeatedly over rides the front office on draft picks and draft trades. Lmao at blaming any one else.

    • Yeah lol well the interest isn’t really about seeking stimulation.  I wanted to see how actually bad it was.  And how much of it was women setting him up to be their cash cow.  That is the stuff that leveraged the Panthers into David Tepper’s hands. It is important in that sense.     The worst that I have heard is that he got them in the car and clumsily reached across to help them with their seat belt and made contact. With his arm. That was probably his big slick move. And I can almost guarantee he wasn’t rejected every time. It is easy to picture that action bringing his head close enough to the woman’s head to where he could go in for the kiss if he thought he got the green light.    I really don’t care if JR was a horn dog. We heard all our lives up until the last few years that one of the perks of being really old is that you can flirt with the young women and it is not just tolerated but expected. So he was keeping a tradition alive at some point 😂
    • Well I rubbed some dirt on it and am still here just not optimistic about the future of the QB position. Even what I had accepted as a ceiling raised to an acceptable level turned out to be a bit of a mirage, upon rewatch of the WC game.  Good plays were there yes, but some pretty bad ones too that the good ones late in the game kind of obscured. I have to downgrade that a little.  Especially after rewatching the last 4 plays. I remember the arguments about he did his job the WRs didn’t but that was really just that last muff by Coker I think it was on our final offensive play.   To the future: I know what my level is for paying him and recommitting, but I don’t have any confidence that the team shares my high bar.    But thanks for the pep talk
