If nothing else, it just hurts and reinforces what we all know.  We've always had damn good talent here, leading to some of us always being optimistic, unrealistic expectations, etc.  We just can't put it together.

#1 in AP 1st Team is pretty impressive. All-Pro status is much more prestigious than being selected to the Pro Bowl.

Since 2000 we've only really had two terrible years. Not essy to do in the NFL.

It's weird isn't it? Overall the Panthers have been a very even team. Just can't get the gears to click right. 

This is the Other Year in our every other year cycle.
