Conveniently forget last year when he picked three corners. Or a couple years back when he double dipped at DT.

Last year, he put himself in a box, and he admitted as much in so many words. He basically said earlier this year that he would do no such thing with this year's draft. In other words, he fuged up, and there is no way he's doing that this year. Implicit in that is that he's getting back to his philosophy of BPA. He's said it several times this year that he believes in using free agency to set up the draft to that end. In his mind, I think that he has done that.

His first year here was when he doubled down at the top of the draft with DTs. I'm fairly certain that I remember him saying that he had a first round grade on KK. Star and KK were the two best players available when we were on the clock. So that's really not a mystery, it's how it all fell.

I'm glad we at least got Peppers. We are so thin at DE.

We need to pick up at least 2 this draft unless you want Wes Horton playing starter snaps next year.

Well, I still believe that they believe Ryan Delaire is serviceable. When we add Kpassagnon, we'll be OK.

We still need a twitchy pass rusher. If we switch to 4-3 under front, we can really use a guy like Charles Harris. His bend around the edge is unbelievable.

Yes, from what I've researched about him, he has the potential to be one of the best rushers in this class. Some may disagree, but Harris might end up being the second best edge rusher in this class.

People kind of forget about him after his poor combine. But tape doesn't lie.

There is no DE worth the 8th spot for the Panthers 4-3 scheme besides Garrett.

Its either gonna be Fournette or OJ Howard.

McCaffrey > Barnnett if we move up in the bottom half of the 1st round.

Constantly reading your mantra about Fournette and Howard is so tiresome.

I'm not as sold on the early TE's as everyone else seems to be. I think there are a lot of play-making TE's who are ok or worse at blocking and it seems to me a blocking TE who has potential as a play-maker fits our needs better. As has been mentioned elsewhere this for me is George Kittle. However I think he is unlikely and even if not 1st Rnd they will select a TE on day one. I also worry that the 2nd TE will be misused by Shula, even if its Howard.                                                                                                                    As for DE's I think Barnett is off our radar because of his combine and pro-day which personally i see as a bit of a shame. I don't think he will fall as far as some believe but he obviously isn't nor has ever been a popular choice in many folks books. Thomas is a bit over-rated as a DE though he wouldn't be a terrible pick, and I'm even a bit skeptical about Garrett though it seems everyone has him as a nailed-on HOF-er before hes played an NFL snap. I actually think there is a bit of depth at DE in this draft and would be happy with  Basham, Tanoh, Willis or Walker. Even Hendricksen in the mid-rounds.                             So I guess i wouldn't be upset if we didn't take DE or TE in Rnd 1.
