Meeks is our problem. The defense is not stopping anyone so we can't run the ball like we need to.Caldwell fired him,but let him save face by letting him resign, but our defense like it was ,was always was better than the Colts under Meeks.

defense stunk last year also. but Trgo > Meeks. That is why Meeks was option 2.

Isn't John Fox the HC?

Hey wait.....this isn't a unicorn farting post. We have become a bad influence on you figgy....sorry.

you are right, yall got me negative some now.but i've watched game four times now,and i've seen alot of things yall didn't see.Peppers over paid ass played good,we dominated game for around 45 to 46 minutes,we just lost on the scoreboard.you can't let any team have the ball 15 more minutes than you,bad things will happen to you

Has it come to this? Really? Propping up Trgo, no matter what the circumstance or comparison??

I swear to all that is holy, I never thought I would see this.

It is a new defensive scheme and philosophy that is being played now. You can not expect immediate results. Check history- first season is a learning season, second season is where you see the marked results.

that wasn't "propping up" Trgo. 3 weeks didn't change anything. That isn't new. I wanted a new DC who would challenge and bring in new ideas. Meeks was the 2nd option for a reason. Trgo was decent, nothing to write home about under Fox but he put together some good units running a Fox defenese with the right pieces.

Ask any hardcore Colt fan the signature of a Meeks run defense....also, most Indy fans don't follow Carolina but many I have spoken to saw it as a sign of desperation that Fox (who has always been thought of as a defensive guy) would bring in Meeks. I was never apart of that group on the board who painted an unrealistic picture of what Meeks was gonna do. We can still win with him........but he was never an upgrade.

yeah, tell that to the 3-0 Jets.......they aren't following the blueprint. Also, teams that go 12-4......aren't suppose to take a year off to work on one side of the ball.

The Jets have a new Head Coach. That is entirely different from just having a new coordinator with a new scheme.

I would not say that the team is taking a year off, by any means. I see the guys out there fighting and sweating on Sundays, so I wouldn't say that in the least... except maybe for Peppers. The defense is in the application phase of the learning process. Just keep the faith.

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
