Call of Duty: World War 2

I think it's going to be interesting, I might play it.  Though I'm just not a huge fan of the CoD multiplayer, too fast for my old hands or something.

What I do find interesting is how, with youtube's very aggressive demonetization program of "offensive content," the people who cover it on youtube are losing money.  That's not just a CoD thing, but there are a LOT of people who make content for youtube losing money and income due to youtube's content filters.

I loved the original WWII games, they worked to get the history right.

In the trailer it shows Ju-87s strafing and bombing US units apparently on D Day or D Day +1 or so - but the only information on Ju 87 activities I can find is that some training units attempted to fly/flee and were bounced by US P-51s. By this time Ju 87s were not involved in front line fighting in the ETO as there was no air cover available for them.

They look cool and are recognizable, but any air units attacking ground forces were most likely FW-190 Jabos. So its already got some work to do for me - it does look beautiful though.

    • Lol Atlanta looks to have lost their young edge rusher, has no 1st round pick, a complete mess at QB, a new coaching staff… And we swept them this year. Says what they think of us.
    • I mean, you can only go so far with the propping up. When a guy's numbers are as bad overall as Bryce's you have to try to find specific niches to sell. It's just funny that they're honing in on where he's probably weakest to try to prop him up. Whether it's a pro-Bryce conspiracy or not, it echos my chief complaint about PFF's analysis for years. When your purely statistical analysis badly skews from the eye test of actually watching the games, it should be screaming at you that you need to modify your system not double down on it. PFF is awesome at compiling stats but their grade systems are highly flawed and they never seem to try to improve them.
    • Then why is Byce also last in other PFF stats?  The deep ball thrower stat by PFF can simply be flawed vs some conspiracy trying to prop up a QB on a team that a former employee now works for.  Both of these guys were also hired AFTER the Panthers had already drafted Bryce.  Trying to prop him up with a made up stat while he struggled would be a detriment to their own team honestly.
