World of Warcraft (PC) - I played from launch until first expansion a bit in, then came back for a couple expansions.   But when it first dropped it was groundbreaking.    There had been MMO's before but WoW took it further.   First time I raided with 40 other people was amazing, probably my favorite gamer moment.

Call of Duty 4 (Xbox 360) - My favorite multiplayer FPS.    To me, the perfect FPS.    Nothing too fancy, a few kill streaks, great gun play, great maps, somewhat of a rank up system.    I loved this game.  Played it hard for 2+ years.

Metal Gear Solid (PSX) - I remember borrowing this from a friend, and was excited with all the CD's it had.    This game was awesome.   I still remember knocking on walls "What's that sound?" and all the tense moments.   Sniper Wolf fight, helicopter fight, Mantis.     Later on I used Gameshark and got stealth suit and that was even more fun.

Sim City 2000 (PC) - This was probably my first PC game addiction honestly.   I loved this game and played it a ton over years.  I still love city builder games and this was my entry into it.   Easily play this for hours.   I remember just spending like 15 hours a day during Christmas break once.    I loved how you could create Sim City 2000 cities and load them into SimCopter and fly around the actual city.   That was pretty ahead of its time IMO.

Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball (SNES) - Loved this game.  My brother and me played this countless hours.  It didn't have the names of the players if I remember, or maybe we just did it to update the game but I remember us getting the Sports almanac to type in all the players' names lol.   The game was just fun.

WWF: Attitude (PSX) : I remember a year or two before Warzone came out and it was great too but this game took it further with more characters and a great create-a-wrestler system.    I hardly played non-CAW's honestly.   I had a neighbor and we played this for a couple years off and on with created wrestlers and all this.

Diablo 2 (PC) - First entry into ARPG's for me.   Loved this game.   I stayed up late nights in High School playing this and couldn't wait to get home and play more.   Still the trend setter and whatnot for this type of game.

Path of Exile (PC) - Currently still play this.   Definitely the best ARPG out and has been for years and keeps getting better.  Love this game.

NFL 2k5 (PS2) - Still the last great football game IMO.   It was only $20 too, and even though TO was on the cover, this game was amazing.  The animations are still better than Madden, and there's so many diehard fans people update rosters every year and people still play it on PS2.    Berman doing highlights was awesome too (pre-annoying Berman).

Fallout 3 (Xbox 360) - I mean, not much to say here.   This game is fantastic.  Huge world, fun quests, neat style, this game blew me away and stole a lot of my life.

Honorable mentions:  Skyrim, ATV Offroad Fury, Gran Turismo, Mario Kart (SNES), F-Zero, Mortal Kombat 2, Donkey Kong Kountry, Commander Keen, Final Fantasy 7, SEGA Bass Fishing

I have such great memories of COD 4 & MW2. Throw in a lip of Skoal Citrus and getting nukes on nukes with my friends.

Totally forgot about Total Annihilation. I used to go to the Boys & Girl's Club when I was a kid and this is all we would play in the computer room. Those were the fuging days. That and Goldeneye. Also MOH: Frontline running up the beach on D-Day was so fuging epic. Also Fable is an incredibly underrated game which I love. Total immersion kind of like Oblivion. Wasn't crazy about the sequels.

Haha. Max Payne was such a great story... so dark. "...I have tasted the flesh of fallen angels"

Max Payne was awesome, I played on PC and yeah those dream scenes were nuts.   That game was just fun to shoot and do bullet time lol.

Bullet time is great. I downloaded a trainer for Max Payne 3 on PC and it gives me unlimited ammo/bullet time. The game takes 10x as long but it's a fuging blast lol

I loved this game as a kid. I remember "Crime" for the braves instead of Fred McGriff.

I miss those noir type games. Dark and edgy like that. Too bad the movie sucked balls. fug Marky Mark.

    • Has anybody actually said anything of that sort? (if they did, I missed it) I get why some folks rely on stats. I don't, and honestly I'm not sure why people keep trying to convince me I should. (it ain't gonna happen) 😕 Consistency is my big thing too, and the lack of it is why I want to move on from Bryce. But again, that's an argument I make without denying that he can indeed play in (and yes, win) NFL games. Hating bad QB play is fine. Denying when you see good QB play is silly. Let's be real for a second... This may not be you specifically, but there are some folks for whom Bryce can do absolutely nothing to win their approval. Some are always gonna want a bigger / stronger / faster / more athletic (in some cases, Newtonesque) quarterback even if Bryce does start to play consistently. At that point, they'll just shift the argument from "we can't win with Bryce" to "well, we can't keep winning with Bryce" 😖 You know all this as well as I do. So again, I want to move on from Bryce as well. I'd happily (hell, merrily) keep him as a backup, but I doubt there's a realistic path to that happening. But no matter what, I'm gonna keep my debate points based in reality, and I'm not gonna be responsive to "he just sucks" level persuasion. Is any of that unreasonable? 🤔
    • Apples and oranges.   No one is coming for Jon Snow and the neutral party when they compliment Bruce when it is just normal talk about a game.  Which is the literal picture you are trying to paint above.  I mean that’s exactly what you argued. if you start a thread that is about the future of the franchise at QB going forward at QB and what we should do or are thinking! Yeah, the anti Bryce crowd is going to very vocal on that thread because the literal topic is extending Bryce and the future at QB (which is what an anti Bryce position is literally about.  Moving on.  The future) This thread? I literally called out people in their feelings wanting to make this about Bryce and their hurt feelings eroding over.  You can find where I literally calls them out go make another Bryce thread if they didn’t want to talk Saints and the most relevant thing about them.  And the thread went exactly as we all knew it would.   Bryce deserved player of the week talk for Atlanta.  I have always acknowledged his great games.  A shame there are only two
    • Then the offense will be the same up and down underperforming offense they are this year and our FO are filled with idiots.
