Bills Pick up Dave Gettleman...

Recommended Posts

Just went through a miscarriage and thought me and Mrs were going to handle it together.

She sent me a lovely text... ummmm were done

I said Why ?....

She said... i just need some time for personal reflection.

Was with her EVERY step of the way unlike her previous relationships where everyone treated her like poo...

I know EXACTLY how Dave Feels...

Jerry really took the superbowl loss harder than we can even imagine..... and could give 2 ducks about panthers 10 years from now.

He wanted a superbowl 2 years ago... not this new fancy machine were building. As a player he knows its almost impossible for panthers to get back to the superbowl in the next 3 years.

Playoffs yes... Superbowl... probability is REDICULOUS....

weird - this explains my girlfriends behaviour... well Ex...

The loss of the kid i beleive was harder on her than i thought... anyway...

Theres nothing we can do but hope to god... the next GM is half as good as Dave was 20 years ago.

    • Smitty is a legendary footballer player but this has really damaged his reputation as a person. You don’t cheat on a woman who has been with you through everything and gave you children and especially not with another man’s wife. He doesn’t even have any remorse about it, acting like nothing happened.
    • That's a big ass center! Is there any center in the NFL that weighs 320 lbs? Also, we drafted a center last season. Not sure this guy is a center even if he took reps at the senior bowl. Looks like a guard to me unless his build is better suited to a lesser weight. In a zone scheme centers need to be able to move quickly.
    • The majority of NFL draft picks don't play all too many snaps lined up directly across from another NFL player, and I don't think many people really realize this. Unless you play a game against one of the 2-4 schools that are putting half their lineup into the NFL each season, most teams who have multiple draft picks, MIGHT only have 2-4 draft picks in any given season. Some skill positions get around 30 players drafted each year, other positions are in the teens to low 20's.  With at least a handful of them coming from non power conference schools too.  So the odds for any WR or CB to get too many games lined up directly against another future draft pick is pretty low. The better odds are that they get lined up against a future NFL player, i.e. a junior or senior WR getting lined up against a freshman or sophomore DB who will get drafted in a couple of years. Then if you take it one step further and look for players who actually play in the NFL and make a difference.   You're basically looking at players drafted in the first 3 rounds of the draft, so a little less than 100 players a year, spread out across all the positions and conferences (which in today's massive conferences, teams have even lower odds of player the teams with more NFL players than ever before).
