No. 22 taking snaps at QB for Dorman HS. Cam Newton yells: "They've got Doug Flutie over there! What up, Doug?!"

RE: Curtis Samuel injury concerns. Worth noting that OBJ missed first games his rookie year with hamstring pull. It happens.

Cam looks to be giving some footwork advice to Benjamin and Garrett. Garrett leaps for a catch and Newton points at him happily.

FWIW Cam hasn't thrown yet. Be shocked if we saw it today Maybe saving up for Fan Fest but may want to prepare for a lot of DA tomorrow nite

Was thinking that the trainers having him take it easy the past couple practices was a strategic decision so he could at least participate some during fan fest, while sticking to their original plan/schedule to ease him back.

That's kind of what I'm thinking (hoping for) as well.

Chase Blackburn firing up the linebackers. They were glad to see him.

Crowd a little bigger than yesterday. Maybe word got out the Panthers were on the near field....maybe lots of Dorman High parents.

I made the 2 hour drive Tuesday and was disappointed that they practiced on the far field the entire time. Does anyone know if they usually rotate or how do you know when they will be on the near field?

Can definitely see how that would be annoying AF.

It is - you can go down and try to squeeze into the corner near the woods and watch from the one endzone but I just stayed on the hill because it looked too crowded. I understand that they are there to practice and not cater to the fans but it was disappointing and pretty much a wasted trip / vacation day.
