Addison all over CMC in backfield on that one.

Kelvin Benjamin getting his lower back/hammy worked on, maybe a little tightness there

First throw — a completion to McCaffrey on far sideline. From Anderson.

McCaffrey beats Bradberry on a comeback route, has to dive for a bad Anderson pass

Captain Munnerlyn, apparently no longer limited. Back in team drills after he was held out the past couple of days.

Byrd beats Williams over the middle

CAP with a nice run to the edge. Hall had great pursuit from other side of the line.

McCaffrey squirts through the right side. But likely would've been dropped in the backfield by Marlowe on a safety blitz.

McCaffrey with a nifty run, finding holes all over the place. So interested to see if he looks like this when people can try to tackle him.

McCaffrey, Byrd, Clay back on punt return today.

Duke and Shep are gunners. McCray Worley and T Williams on outside as Clay takes one to the house to the cheers on the hill.

Punt teams working. Clay returns first one for a touchdown. Watch him in the preseason. Career special teamer.

Bradberry/Parms blocking Graham, whose the gunner. He couldn't get 10 yards down the field.

Now McCaffrey takes one "to the house". This was definitely a drill for the outside guys to work on their gunner blocking.

Samuel and Elder starting to look like they will make no impact....can't help us if not on the field

Also staring to wonder if Cam will be good for all year...QB with lousy throwing shoulder doesn't help us either

We dont know how long Samuel and Elder will be out , but its pretty bad for them in general since they are rookies any practice time they miss is a big setback . Especially Samuel he needs at least some time to be able to practice with Cam before game 1 otherwise he wont be used much this season .

Cam, I have no clue. He'd been throwing plenty of picks this training camp and got sore pretty fast. I'm thinking he'll not play for the vast majority of pre-season and we'll be going into game 1 with possibly a healthy shoulder but alot of quesionmarks of his throwing ability .

Unofficial Panthers depth chart lists receiver 4 as Brenton Bersin, with draft pick Samuel behind him. Tyler Larsen also hops to backup C

Funch makes a catch across the middle as ref calls holding on Bradberry. Funchess: "Let me eat out here!"

Funchess catches it on Bradberry on 7-on-7's. Sends some words Bradberry way about holding

Richard Rodgers sometimes adds a call to a formation: “Dollar, dollar.” If you’re not thinking “bills, y’all,” I can’t be your friend.

Worley/Captain shut down Shepard's target

Derek Anderson has had a sneaky bad camp so far.

McCaffery's cut just toppled Jeff Richards

Panthers also list McCaffrey at unofficial starter on punt return. While his talent there is prodigious, skeptical they throw him out there

@Johnny Rockets - they told us they rotate at Wofford's direction. My personal opinion is they're using the far field when they're in pads and installing some new formation stuff. They don't want the fans recording that stuff.

Thanks RR - I mentioned both of those possibilities to my GF when we were there Tuesday. I tend to lean to the recording thing as you mentioned.
