Cowboys release Robert Blanton.  Would be fantastic Safety depth IMHO.  What does the huddle think?

He's local (Butler) and seemed like a good pickup early summer but we was signed and released after not much time which is a flag.

He went to Butler HS.  

Also--He was a UDFA at the beginning of the year and looked like a potential Panthers pickup.  Looked decent when called upon in Buffalo and was scooped by Dallas.  They also drafted 4 DBs so had some tough decisions to make in their secondary.
