Wow that's awesome. And the ravens have actually been around for 1 less year than Carolina and have 2 Super Bowls and 10 playoff appearances. So I guess contrary to what you're trying to sell everyone on here, the Carolina Panthers actually are not the golden standard of franchises in the NFL.

Ravens weren't a expansion team either.. They didn't start from scratch..  You do know the difference right??

We have had just as much success as the falcon in 30 less years is my point..

Again alot of teams and fans wait 30 to 40 years to have the success we had in 20.

We didn't have to go threw the Saints Bag head decade..

Or The bucs multiple 2 or 3 win seasons back to back to back

Or the Falcons 2 decades of being the 49ers bitch.

This is my point.  WE As panthers fans have really never suffered thru what other actual fans have..

But you act like we are the Browns is my point..

Maybe you should become a Fan of the Lions, Browns, Or Beangles and see what real suffering is like .

We haven't gone through dark times? I seem to remember a stretch from 97-02 where we were pretty bad. I also seem to remember becoming the first team in NFL history to lose 15 straight games in a season.

Was trading multiple first round picks for Sean Gilbert not suffering? Was the George Seifert years not suffering? How about the tragic stories of Rae Carruth and Fred Lane? How many franchises have gone through that?

I'm sorry, did I just dream about the year that Jerry tanked the season and royally screwed over John Fox because he prioritized his pockets and the NFL over the fans. And before you say of course he did because he's a businessman, than how come actual good owners like the Maras, the Krafts, and the Rooneys did not do the same thing?

Was it not suffering when the team refused to address the QB position when it was clear Jake Delhomme had nothing left? Please find me a Chargers or Browns or Jaguar offense that was worse than the 2010 Panthers. Good luck with that.

Keep telling yourself how great of an owner JR is and how lucky we are, but the truth of the matter is that most people around the country look at the Panthers as a losing franchise.

I can guarantee you that Gettleman will fill one of the first 3 GM positions to open up. What team wouldn't want a GM that was able to take a team out of cap hell and take them to the Super Bowl in the process?

And when he takes his next team to a Super Bowl while we are 7-9 and in Cap Hell giving KB an unreal contract, I'm gonna be mad as hell! This is worst case scenario

1. From 97 to 02 we had more 4 7-9 and to 8-8 records being in the playoff hunt for most of the season..

2. In the 23 year history we had like 4 to 5 years where we had no chance at the playoffs.

3. Every team has tragic story who gives a fug. .. How is that affecting you rooting for the team..

KC loses a HOFer D Thomas to a Car accident in the prime of his career, Eagles Lose DT Brown the same way.. It didn't stop Cheif and Philly fans from being fans??

4. You act like 1 or 2 seasons is suffering alot of other teams went decades of this poo??

They didn't bounce back the next year.

It was 2-14 , 4-12, 3-13 maybe a 8-8 or 7-9 then back to 5-11..

So please go cheer for the Jets .. Woody would love your support..

Absolutely. For all I know, his next gig may be when we may bring him back once we enter cap hell again

    • Well, they're both in the same league (if you will). During preseason, Fitz went 3/3 & Sauls went 5/6, but of course Sauls was 4/4 last night (including one 50+). Both were Lou Groza Award finalists. I believe Fitz made two 55+ yarders last season, while Sauls led the nation with three. Fitz was 13/13 (💯) while Sauls was 21/24 (87.5). Fitz was a 3rd-Team AP All-American, while Sauls was a PFF All-American.  Career-wise, Fitz was 58/74 (78.4), while Sauls was 52/64 (81.3). I wish that I could see the attempts and knew the depth of yardage. I wish that we could compare practice kicks during their training camps, but we can't. Maybe someone with a PFF/CFF account can give that Basically it's just a matter of belief I guess. Seeing dude knock down four FGs and go perfect during a pressure-filled game for him is damned impressive if you ask me. I don't believe that Fitzgerald could do that.  That being said, I'd have to know more. I will say that it may be worth mentioning that we seem to like PFF this year and Sauls being a PFF All-American may be notable. Now that being said, the Panthers may not be even considering Sauls.
    • Ive said it 1000x times on here.  Our 2025 season will be dictated by the first 4 games.  poo the bed there and lose all confidence and momentum, we win 5 games maybe.  Go 2-2, 3-1 we got a look at 7/8 wins
    • I basically made almost the exact predictions on a phone call with a buddy about 3 weeks ago. I really do expect Evero gone before the seasons end, Young to just not able to get over the hump enough and DC to head into next season on a VERY hot seat.
