Hey thanks.

It was very fun to see that research I did on 6+ sack games featured on Panthers.com in Bill's stats & superlatives article.  Makes it worthwhile to know that some of the research will reach a wide audience.

I'm trying to work out my schedule this season so I can post more.

For those who do twitter, I'm tweeting some statistical stuff there that sometimes I can't find time to write up into an article.  Often I'll try to post that stuff here too, but if rushed, I may not manage that.

Here's my Twitter handle:

Feel free to shoot me stats questions by twitter.  I try to check my mentions daily....

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
