How hard is it for our offense to prepare for defenses?

True, I still think it's more than that. I just do not get why our coaches don't run it more. It has been blatantly obvious since Cam's rookie year that he absolutely THRIVES and violates defenses when we run no huddle. When he gets into that rhythm it's over, and we saw that a lot in 2015. So WTF did we completely ditch it? It's questions like these that make me really dislike our stubborn coaching staff.

The faster we score the more time the defense spends on the field. Ron doesn't want his defense getting tired and giving up more points.

I'm not sure they plan for specific teams or Defences.

Same template just diff personnel.

EG: If they show blitz do (A)

If they show man to man do (B)

etc etc...

I've  seen no instances that come to mind where we exploit a specific teams weakness or focus on a general tendency.

We do what we do and that's it.  No adjustments no forethought just line em up and slam dance.

I'm now convinced that we don't game plan our offense. They've admitted it. To me, this attitude is unfathomable. On the other hand, you have BB and TB probably spending the entire week picking apart every tiny nuance and weakness of every player expected to play, and making requisite tweaks to gain further advantage. There's video on the WWW of the two doing just that. For some reason, they let someone peek behind the curtain and post it. I know we don't have that kind of capacity at the top, but hell, they could at least try.

Edit: Here's the example I mentioned:

Can you see us doing that sort of thing?

And pretty much this. We aren't going into games with a specific gameplan to attack a defense, we run our offense regardless of what happens during the game. Should have been obvious in the superbowl, but if you want a more recent example, just look at last week. Instead of exploiting their weak secondary, we run CMC right into the strength of the Bills defense all day.

Your rant was going so well until the end. Then you had to go all herp de derp on us. There was no reason to throw that out there.

Another example of folks being willing to say anything to try and make their point sound valid.

Except, when we run the No Huddle, we don't do it at break neck speed. We did it when we had favorable match ups, and only after we had gotten at least 1 1st down. We are not trying to shorten the game. We are trying to keep a certain Defense on the field.

That said. Cam still thrived using it. And we should be using it more than we do.

See, this is the problem. Cam and Shula do sit down and go over what they want to do during the game. This Offense is a collaboration between the two of them. Then Rivera signs off on it.

It's almost as if folks truly believe that Cam doesn't know what is going to happen during the game, until Shula sends in the play.

Too many folks miss too many of these things.

We ran Stew and CMC up the gut all game for a putrid 77 yds on 2.8 ypc. What game were you watching? Another sh*t post from a sh*t poster.

If what you say is true, and we don't see a STRONG performance tomorrow, then a lot of posters who get bashed here for doubting their capabilities are going to gain some significant traction with regard to planning, lack thereof, delays, decision making, calls, and so on.

Wow. Lot's of WTF in that post. So you are trying to tell me every one of our runs were up the gut? Is that really what you saw? Or are you just going overboard trying to make your point sound valid?

You do know that when people get defensive, they tend to be aggressive. It's doubling down, trying to force their poor stance on people? It's ok. When you make valid points, you won't need to be so defensive.

That is the price of admission. Lost in all this? Rivera claims Cam is making great decisions, and that he is just working through this. If that is true? Then the only folks that should be worried are our opponents.

Rivera signs off on this Offense. He sees it every day, live, and on film. He knows what it is capable of doing.

Now, this next part is pure speculation. But, Rivera, who knows this Offense, must be happy with the finished product.

All I know is that a Healthy and Happy Cam is dangerous. Right now he is still Happy. I can't wait until he finally gets Healthy.

I know folks are frustrated. I just don't understand why?

It's official.

The Panthers don't game-plan for their opponents offensively nor defensively. We just run what we run. If the players fail to execute, its over.

Oh I knew that. I bowed and was deferential to the poster I replied to. Having just arrived home from that debacle, I'll now go on record as saying the non-planning, lack of adjustment, and play calling, are incompressible to me. Shula, early on, showed flashes of what could have been, then went back to his norm, i.e., not good. Riverboat Ron is a ghost. Not going for it on 4th at the NO 30 whatever it was and punting into the end zone brought the entire stadium to an uproar. Cam was Cam. Used properly, CMC can be special. As predicted, get him the ball in space, and it's money. Samuel flashed skills. I don't know what the problem was on defense. That was the biggest shocker. Bottom Line: Thank God I didn't drop 650+ face value on the two tix, plus parking, food, and bevs, on that poo show.
