The other problem with the chart is it doesn't show frequency. For example, 100% on 1 attempt is meaningless.

We need to know sample sizes.

I think the emphasis of the chart was 1st and 10 and showing its less than 50% run since many seem to think it's 80%+. That said, game flow still has to be considered as as some of those 1st and 10s must have been in obvious pass situations (behind in the game, late in the 2nd quarter,  etc.)

Correct, the lazy, frustrated, temper-trantrum board member will suggest we run up the middle every first down and throw deep every third and short. in this case, perception is delusion.

It is what the eyes see and remember bc it happens far more than it should..i remember saying to myself will the first dr. begin with a run by stew... it did not it was a run up the middle by Cam..He tries to call a balance game except the eagles game. The point is that he runs win he shouldn't and throws when he should not..those plays forever stain the brain bc its usually str8 up the middle or stew running laterally which is not stew strength...whatever shula is shula hopefully things can get better when olsen and byrd return..i was hoping to see clay in to stretch the field.

Look around, they seem to be coming out of the woodwork around here.

well, I did say what idiot.  ;)

I think most of these folks haven't watched any teams besides the panthers.  Most teams have games in which they looked like crap.  We are in a group of teams that have a legit shot at the playoffs, but need to become better in some areas.

Ayup, and teams like that usually make up about 80% of the playoff field, and half or more of the SB contenders.

I sure hope he does ball out because apparently he runs the show on the field.  The team goes as he goes.

Shula on the other hand is a waste of space and Ron is as inconsistent as Cam.

I predict the mediocrity to continue until significant changes are made to the organization and it's staff.

Welcome to Hurney 2.0 where mediocrity is the standard and winning is optional as long as everyone is happy.

    • Even all the rookie QB's who haven't played a single snap ranked above him? I really hope Bryce is using all this as motivation in some capacity. Because if this doesn't motivate him I don't know what will.
    • Of course. That’s what I said. Bad goalie play and the style of defense. Florida played amazing.  Rods decision to stick with a struggling Freddie cost us. Plus, Florida may be more talented than us and they play a very heavy game. Something we don’t do well minus Svech.  Glad the rangers lost.
    • You should because before the preseason fiasco and the start of the season fiasco, all the reports, including Frank’s responses, were that Fitterer and Reich were in lock step. Remember the press conference where Fitterer talked about both he and Frank saying who they wanted before and after the draft process and that they both picked Young and it was glorious? People got hung up on Tepper saying the point guard analogy in April when Brown was interviewed by a Panthers reporter describing how a QB needs to be a point guard in huge detail. That was in February. I think Tepper was just parroting Brown to make himself look like he knew what he was doing. Mrs. Tepper hugging Bryce always overshadowed CJ saying how he called her Mama Tepp. We fuged up as a team, probably more so because Fitterer always said he had Young as his #1 the year before, probably because we looked at all the QBs that year as well. Reich’s love for CJ started when he got on the hot seats for frankly doing a horrific job. He's been in the league a long time and has a lot of media friends and that was a face saving CYA which we know well with many years of Hurney. Still amazing to think how much better the team was under Rhule/Hurney before Fitterer got any control when Rhule was on the hot seat.
