Words that aren't nice together

Mr. Scot

Recommended Posts

Abscess...

Groin...

Needle...

Incision...

Draining...

Packing...

Forceps...

Gauze...

These words led to lots of other words. I needed to research new swear words because the ones I already knew weren't sufficient to express how painful this little procedure was.

Let's just say I haven't had a good week.

My advice: If you've ever considered having an abscess in the most sensitive area of your body, DON'T!

So tell me, what's the worst physical pain you've had to deal with?

What the fug did you do to yourself?

Not a thing. Just got an infected hair or something. Seemed like no big deal at first till suddenly I've got a pus filled balloon inflating under my skin between my legs.

Words can't even explain.

oh like a ingrown toenail.. yeah that poo is terrible man.. sorry it happened to ya.

Well hey, I wound up with a cute female doctor and cute female nurses.

Wife didn't appreciate that.

My response: How attracted would you be to someone after you looked at a red, swollen ball of pus around their genitals?

"So thanks for helping with that big ugly infected spot next to my nuts. Wanna go out sometime?"

Most pain I've ever been in is when I spilled boiling water on my bare leg. My immediate reaction was to wipe it off... And most of my skin came off with it. That hurt, but when the doctor actually did the debriding to remove the dead skin, it was the most painful poo I've ever experienced

Did you make it to "incision"?

I looked down at the wrong moment. And I can tell ya right now the sight of a scalpel moving slowly toward my ballsack is an image that will never leave my mind.

I had over 50 pockets of fluid around my right lung a few years ago.  They had to break them all up mechanically, which put holes in my lung.  So I laid in a bed for 3 weeks at the hospital with tubes in my side to drain the excess fluid from my lung cavity until they were ready to pull them out.  And when they did, they rolled me over onto my side and just pulled them out.  About 3-6 inches of tubes as big as my ring finger. For months afterwards it felt like I had a bag of rotten garbage in my chest. I still don't feel right to this day, and in shitty weather, it aches and cramps.

I got a tree branch stuck in my eye awhile back while doing some landscaping and tore a hole my cornea. Took 3 surgery's of drilling and scraping into the center of my eyeball over several months to get it fixed. More nerves in your eyeball than anywhere else and the pain was unbearable at times and there is nothing to be done for relief.

Also, laying awake during surgery while completely immobilized on a gurney and watching a drill coming for the center of your eyeball is the stuff that nightmares are made of.

Oy.

My older sister spilled scalding hot water on me when I was about 3 years old. No damage but I have a phobia of hot things. Never understood why until some years back she told me that story.

Ouch. That'd suck.

I'm really protective and sensitive about my eyes. Yeah, that's a nightmare.

    • Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.
    • I don't think Canales has any problem benching Bryce or moving on if Bryce doesn't come out playing like the end of last year.  It's year 3 no more excuses for Bryce
    • Yea Bryce was definitely a top half qb the second half of last season but I'm not sure Canales is 100% sold on him.  Like I've said in another post I think that's part of why we talked to so many South Carolina players in the draft process.  I think they are doing early due diligence on Sellers just in case.
