Thats actually a good question

My uncle actually asked me yesterday while watching the Panthers game (I'm with a bunch of extended family members for Christmas) , he asked me why our CBs our always out of position and getting burned, and why our WRs always have defenders draped all over them when Cam throws them the ball.

I just said our WRs have serious problems with creating seperation and being more physical than opposing CBs, and our secondary is liable to get burned deep any game any time. The last time they were any good was in 2015, and our secondary just has alot of different members. Coleman is the only one in the backfield thats lef from the SB roster and Funchess is the only real WR we returned from 2015. It could just be a talent problem.

Gettleman might have just struck out horribly in the 2016 draft class and drafted a bunch of bums who cant cover well.

I don’t think Bradberry and Worley are bad, they do well for 2nd year guys. Coleman and Adams, those guys give up the yards. Those passes over the middle when we are in zone? Safety.

Bradberry got abused yesterday (probably worse than any panthers corners in years), and has got toasted all year.  Worley has been pretty bad to but not as bad as Bradberry

I think Kelvin Benjamin put a curse on this team lol. He was ousted, the Funchess has been banged up off and on all season, Samuel was starting to gell but got injured, then Byrd was really starting to do well and got injured. Receiver losses this year (Id include Olsen to that too ) are almost as bad as our oline injuries last year.

    • I would write “give remmers tight end help” on a yellow sticky note and stuck it in shulas playbook the night before superbowl 50.
    • And don’t worry about Bryce he will be great… Peyton Manning had a horrible rookie year too 😂
    • Nothing wrong with it at all until you start telling others they are bad fans or not fans. But you are the good fan because you never say negative stuff about the team.    I did many years of that type of uninformed fanning because there really was no info and coverage like there is with the internet.    I mean, I used to go to the store and get Street and Smith’s annual football issue. That was about the extent of what you could get if you didn’t live in a big city with sportswriters covering and reporting.  There was no video to look at or replay the games and if you didn’t live in the market you could only rarely see your football team play.    TI have fanned since being a kid in the early 1960s, and as late as 1995 - ‘97 I lived in Atlanta and good luck getting more than 3 or 4 games a year on TV. No radio either. No print coverage outside of an AP recap and box unless they played Atlanta.  People today that have always had the network connection don’t know.    I wasn’t very educated about the Panthers until I finally got internet.
