Could it be Shula's year?

I've heard the tv broadcast of very few games this year and yes indeed in every single one of those (3-5 maybe) the commentators are on their knees for Shula, for some reason. Probably just because they can talk up the name Shula and random fans watching will be like "oh wow I know Shula, that's his kid!... I must know a lot about football."

They do that to take the credit away from the field general and give it to the press box cadet, even as the field general is saving the press box cadet's skin time and time and time again.

Maybe it’s just me but i feel like every game the commentators are salivating over the “creativity” of Shula. Maybe, just maybe, some city will be moronic enough to believe the false hype and ship him out of Carolina.

...i choked on my whiskey when i heard that...lol

To be fair, I don't hear a lot of commentators and play by play announcers knocking coaches...or anybody, especially the former athletes.

Studio analysts maybe, but the guys who work the game never say too many negative things about the fraternity.

Granted, they're not required to heap praise.
