This had nothing to do with the loss and everything to do with what transpired last game. If Koetter wanted to talk about it, he should have called, or met him before the game.

Maybe they should meet in south Charlotte

Payton was being a bitch.  Why would Koetter need to call him because Evans was an idiot.  Payton go around calling folks when the Saints have taken cheap shots over the years?  Opposing coaches done Payton like that post game when he didn’t call and act like clowns?

If you can show me a video of a Saints player attacking someone a good 20 seconds after a play, I'd like to see it. The closest I can think of is Harper hitting Smith as he crossed the goal line, but even that wasn't anywhere near the maliciousness that Evans hit Lattimore with. Koetter didn't say poo to Evans about it, which Sean didn't like.

Lets not act like yall wouldn't have it in GIF form if Rivera would have grown some balls and did some poo like that to Kubiak after the 2nd Denver game. Control your players.

We don't have to worry about that cuz Rivera doesn't take up for our players. He says he'd take cheap shots at cam too

I can show you where your coach was suspended for a year for freaking Bountygate.....and I can find tons of cheap shot plays Saints had no business making.  Trying to frame it where there needs to be an similar setup to Evans....is just a bullpoo defense tactic.  Lot of people have rightfully had issues with things the Saints have done.  Can say that about any team though.

If Ron acted like a bitch I would just call it like it was.  I called it on 89 when he did it too.  I ain't 12, I don't celebrate and pimp clownish behavior as awesome.

Payton looked bad there.  End of the world?  Nope.  But I ain't in the defending on nonsense.....even on "my" teams.  Too much of that in today's society.  From the little leagues, to the work environment to wherevever.

Payton wasn't suspended for having a part in Bountygate. In fact, the NFL suspended him because they couldn't prove he knew about it, but if he didn't, he should have. But yall keep toting that Bountygate line like the NFL has any kind of integrity left.

Payton wasn't acting like a bitch. He was defending his players. Always has. Wouldn't have it any other way. He's not a NFL yes man. We love him for it.

Well I am not going to rehash Bountygate.

I got no issue with a coach defending his players.  However that isn’t what Payton was doing.  He didn’t man up to Koetter and air a grievance.

He acted like a chump.  Then after Koetter wouldn’t let his nonsense go.....started to attempt to use big boy words and then ran off because he didn’t really want to have the conversation.

He told him last game it was chicken poo lol. And he didn't attempt to use big boy words. He told him again how he felt, and left. Coaches meet and talk before damn near every game. If he wanted to have the convo, approach him before, when all the cameras aren't in your face. Koetter had ample opportunity.

I see nothing wrong with it.

Payton has always shown poor sportsmanship when he loses a game and has anger issues.

He was doing his passive aggressive and insane  slaps at Koetter.  Koetter didn’t let Payton off the hook with that nonsense.  So then Payton attempted to talk....and literally when Koetter attempted to talk about it with Payton he literally ran from the conversation.

Payton had ample opportunity to actually standup for his players if that is what he felt was needed.    Acted like a fruitcake instead.  Koetter isn’t the one with a beef....yet you keep framing it that HE had time to do X.  Payton had plenty of time to air his beef.  He didn’t.  He ran from conversation.   All that occurred was Payton being a clown.
