John Fox on offensive line issues

in an interview taken today, john fox talked to reporters after practice:

here is one question and answer:

On if it is surprising that the offensive line has struggled considering that the starters are the same as last year:

"I don't know that it's been an issue. When you're 1-3 or 0-3 a week ago, I think a lot of things have been issues. I don't know that singling out the offensive line - and we were able to run well enough to score 20 points - we've just got to continue to improve in all phases. When you throw a game in there like Philadelphia where you're down 31-10 and you get one dimensional, you're not going to look as good pass protecting, and that's true for any team."

interesting..........

He is scared to say the line is playing bad cause the last time he said that Wharton tea bagged him after not showering for three days.He liked to have never got the crust and taste out of his mouth,I think he went to auto-bell and they helped him get it out

that fig, is your best post ever

Sounds like to me this just another excuse by Fox for his team play. If fox and Davis was to stick with the running game like they should of during the cards playoff game. Then carolina might not be 1-3 right now. Excuses are getting quit old to tell you the truth.:toetap05:

Its like John Fox has a head coach's magic 8 ball or something with things to say to the media. Maybe thats why we get the same recycled garbage every week from him. Why does he even talk to the media? They could just set up a life-sized john fox doll in the stadium, load his memory with like 7 or 8 quotes, and just have someone pull the string when the media asks questions. No fan would know the difference.

    • That’s not a bad idea at all. I was really liking the whole cali-style carne asada. We might do that next week instead of enchiladas for the rams. Was planning on: Saints-Gumbo Tampa-Cuban Sandwiches Seattle- Salmon Stew Tampa- Seafood Boil
    • I agree, honestly you can not trade a player that has Balls talent. Just sitting in street clothes FOR years, it doesn't matter if you are averaging 50points on 88% with 18 rebs, 15 asst, 4 stls if you never can play. These are the worst type of players, teasers. Its HIS JOB to get his body in NBA shape and he has proven that he can not. Thus you break the rule about trading top shelf talent. Hell NBA need to have NFL contracts where the full sum isn't guaranteed, you bet your ass if his money was tied to his playing on the court he'd somehow figure out how to stay healthy.   Plus Im a old head, I member when Seth Curry in his 17(Jesus..) year career had ankle problems and guess what, he solved the issues and got all the money, championships, and fame. Ball doesn't have the same drive to figure out his body, he'd rather drive his car on kids feet while rushing home to drive his go-cart on the roof of his condo after missing his 42nd game of the season.....
