so he only knows one system and is stuck in that system? No it's football and like i said nothing here is going to catch him by surprise ...you only get to be an old dog in this league if you do learn some new tricks...

So lets get this straight? Every coach or coordinator in the league is equally prepared, nothing surprises them and they are all adaptable and flexible because they have been around a long time. So the older the coach the better they are because they have been around?

Do you actually believe half of what you post or do you like to just argue. If you only talked about what you knew I suspect you would be a mime.

but they can magically snap their fingers and fill positions of need to the point that the system in place works as designed...there are players out there that we can get that can make us a whole lot better going into next season...

There are players out there but given Hurney's new attitude of being more objective and less emotional and his discussing potential salary cap issues when he was hired, I wonder what his sense of our needs are and whether he will spend the money to fill those needs or do as he did before which was count on the draft and not go heavy into free agency.

he walks in the door better ...his career and body of work show that. And when it happens I wont piss it in your face. Keep in touch though.

No they arent. His winning percentage as a head coach and OC in the NFL is worse than Shula. Once again you have no clue what you are talking about and no clue about Turner but what you read on Wikipedia. Do some homework and then get back with me.

What does his record as a HC have to do with anything?

What is Shula's record as a HC?

Then why did you and others bring up Alabama and Shula's record as HC as a criticism or that he hasn't had interviews as a HC in the NFL if they aren't connected. Talking out of both sides as usual.

What are you talking about?

I quit talking to you when you compared the offense Atlanta ran with Vick to what we have been running with Cam.

Shula hasn't had any interviews for HC positions in the NFL because he is not a very good offensive coordinator or game manager in general. Plus I am almost positive he sucks from a personality/leadership perspective.

What part of that is confusing to you?

It's pretty silly to judge an OC on their W/L record.

If you are the type that believes that past records are an accurate indicator of future success it might not be.

It tend to wait until it actually happens to form an opinion.

But just because you can't win games doesn't mean you are not a good offensive coordinator.

I mean what was Sean McVay's record while he was running the Redskins offense? What about Chud's W/L?

    • 5 straight completions in the 4th quarter to get into the red zone and then score a stand up rushing TD and celly in one of the best defenses faces to bring the score within 1 possession against the super bowl champs is "stunned" to you?
    • yes, if you read what I said - that was due to his record breaking 245 yard 4th quarter performance in garbage time when the Seahawks were already celebrating. If Bryce puts up big numbers in the 4th quarter, people like you are quick to call it garbage time stats but seem to get selective when other QB's do it because it doesn't fit your narrative.  also, I'm logical enough to admit that Drake is a great QB and his performance had a lot to do with his protection, play calling, and other aspects. The game does not fall completely on the QB. Just like how the Panthers were still in the game vs Seattle until Horn's penalty changed that. It is a team sport, so many factors, players, refs, coaches are involved and it only takes one thing to change the game. the obsession with Bryce is just nauseating at this point and if you pay attention on here, it's the same 10 users quoting and pieing each other. it's super weird and everywhere else you go, opinions on Bryce are trending upwards. the way the season ended, the vibe at the stadium, the performance, should have everyone excited about this next season. Idk, maybe I just look at life and my entertainment outlets differently than others.
