Orlando Brown Doing Drills...

He has to be one of the worst athletes in the combine. Film matters yes. A guy last year like Dalvin Cook underperformed in a few drills got hurt by it, but still had great film. Orlando Brown though is not just underperforming in one drill, he's terrible in every athletic measurement they've posted.

Actually, come to find out, this is exactly how he is. He was like this at OU, and it seemed to workout fine for him. So...........

NFL DEs are a whole different level from college DEs. Athleticism is very important.

Then again, he's likely a RT at best anyways, so maybe he won't have to worry as much.

He should not be on our radar. Take him if he's in the 5-7 round. He's conducting one of the worst performances in the combine for supposedly a 1st round pick.

you can get by in college with sup-par athleticism, but in today's NFL, you best be an athlete or pay for it.

I just don't see Orlando Brown succeeding that much.

Worked in College quite well. I don't think you have to be an athlete to succeed in the NFL as a Tackle per say. Remmers not an athlete, making a good amount of money and a starter. Kalil, not an athlete, making a good amount of money and a starter. So, I don't agree with you that much. If succeeding is being a top tackle to you. Sure. But, if being a starter for years, and being a good NFL player. I think Brown will be that.

You also thought Daryl Williams was trash. And he turned out to be the 3rd best Tackle in football last year. So..............

OU isn’t the NFL. What you just said defines the busts in the draft.

He won't be a bust, because he won't be a First Rounder. That's over with now. He could be like Daryl Williams for us. We get him with the right Coaching, and we'll be set. Bill Bendenbaugh made it work for OU. We can make it work for Carolina with the right coaching.

Take a flyer on him 5+ sure, waste a 1-3rd, nope.

LOL, Kony Ealy was an Athletic freak and the majority of us thought that was a "great" pick. So, taking him in the 2nd or third round won't be the worst thing we've done. Brown actually has the tape for that type of pick.

He did so well, some said he was a First Rounder? Remember? Remember when we got a "steal" with him? Even though film said otherwise? HMMMMMMMM

I honestly don't remember the huddle being all that excited about the Ealy pick, but I could be wrong. I don't remember much 1st round talk around him, but I do remember Gettleman claiming to have had a 1st round grade on him. Then again, I think he pretty much always said that about his 2nd round pick.

Maybe he doesn't want to play for a poo team so he's intentionally killing his draft stock? Nah, can't be.

He could still play for a poo time but making much much less money initially...
