Typical Hurney years. Lets throw poo and see if it sticks. Everyone gets a shot because we don't fill the holes we need to.

No CB help, No RB help, no G help, and no TE help. How can anyone say we are better than last year?  Unless we kill the draft this will be a 8-8 year.

That is how he treated DT, CB, S, WR, and OL.  QB too for that matter (except he got lucky with Jake then rode that horse too long.) Marty has no eye for talent so he throws numbers at a problem.

MOTON grades out way better than kalil with barely any real PT. I been said i would have just rolled the dice with him instead of giving kalil that ridiculous contract. Same with Ryan, Larsen is not a huge drop off for the money we have to pay ryan. I cant wait till both of them off this roster.

According to PFF (and I used to coach HS OL so I watch the OL more than the average fan)--their grades were fairly accurate.

I routinely commented early that Williams was balling at RT--of course, Norwell was at LG.  The Kalils are raping this team.   If Marty were not being emotional, he would have cut Ryan.  If Rivera is the problem, he probably needs to keep his nose out of OL talent evaluation.

The Kalils were the lowest performing OL after Silatolu.  All three earned a poor rating.  So lets pay them $25m and re-sign the lowest-performing G in the NFL....Nice work, Marty--stay objective, right?

I would like for Rivera to keep his nose out of talent evaluation in general, but that's obviously not going to happen.

It's okay to have one of two in a coach-GM combo not be good evaluators. When it's both, that's a problem.

Says more about Rivera preferring experience because Amini was terrible. I think Rivera was absolutely putting Moton at backup tackle to groom him there and he said as much. He was always in on jumbo packages and looked great blocking. He was part of that huge hole for Stewart’s 60 yard run where we ran an unbalanced line.

I have no doubt that Moton is the better player but Rivera makes the call on who plays and Amini is still on the roster.
