I'd like to see us sign Palardy to a long term deal and surprised we haven't yet. After the lackluster Andy Lee trade and the foolishness letting Butker get away, I don't want to play any games with Palardy.

A lot of Panthers fans trying to convince themselves that this statement is true. Water under the bridge but such a definitive statement comes across as sour grapes. I mean seriously you were expecting him to prove himself an all pro based on half a dozen kicks in preseason?

He proved to be good but by all accounts Gano was running away with the "competition" in camp. Imagine the he'll that would be raised had we kept Butker and he continied to atruggled and Gano went to the Pro Bowl elsewhere.
