With the Beason calling out the defense.(Peppers Mainly, but i think others got the message as well.) I support him in his actions, it needed to be done.

Smith basically calling out Jake and the Coaching Staff. You know he is pissed and is the one person that Carolina does not want to lose. (I would think anyway.)I support him. Not even once did they throw a pass play on the final drive. Thats saying something about the confidence in your quarterback.

John Fox not wanting to address issues that are painfully obvious to see so long as you got a set of eyes that that are considered legally blind. I think he just plain punked out of questions asked. Fox your time has been good here. Its time for you to move aside and let someone else take the reigns and run the team with the passion and desire to win, without wanting to punk out of simple questions that deserves answers.

I think something big has to change and soon. We are watching one of the most talented teams across the board self-destruct.

I am not saying we need a complete rebuilding process for the team. just the coaches and quarterback.

This team is far from needing to be rebuilt. Get an average QB and average ST and this is a great team...

This is true if you can keep the D intact. There is nothing wrong with the talent on this team just the People making the decisions. I mean Jake and Moose are done but besides that our team is young and talented.

Not a complete overhaul is needed, but changes most definitely are in need. First, the coaching staff needs to be replaced by coaches who promote hard-nosed firery football, on both sides of the ball. The mentality, let alone the results, of this current staff just isn't getting it done and we have come to realize this as of late. Second, whether you can face reality or not, a Quarterback is the primary concern on the field. Whether it be a young gun that can learn and get better every week or an average QB that is efficient and reliable. I just want someone who puts our team in position to win each week. Thirdly, this QB needs some weapons. Draft, trade, whichever, I would love to see three solid receivers that all can get space and produce. Special teams needs to be addressed as well, football is a game of field position and both the offense and defense need as much help from this aspect as they can get. Lastly, the holes in our defense need to be filled with smart and instinctive men. Leaders. We have a great LB core and that is a great foundation on which to build upon. Get that pass rush going with some veterans as well as young guys. As for the secondary, sort out who exactly needs to be there and have the players who were removed learn and take notes. I would love to see someone take up the leadership role in our secondary.

My opinion. Feel free to comment,

go Panthers!

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
