The problem with our franchise and hopefully that will change with new ownership is that we depend on the draft to build our team. This is a problem when you ONLY MAYBE HIT A HOME RUN WITH YOUR #1 PICK. Not trade it away or build a team with later picks. This is why we should have traded our picks for players rather than later picks this year. This organization doesn't really every do free agency but we did this year for the first time since 2006. New England can judge talent and has a system in place plus has money for free agents. 

tldr; When you have 9 picks and only one works out even though it's the expected one however your team builds through the draft. Probably why we went five years without a playoff appearance and can't win back-to-back seasons.

Guess what if Tepper is the new owner that's what you get. Steelers do the same thing and never go after free agents. It will be no different so sorry to tell you don't get too excited.

Richardson wanted the Panthers modeled after Rooney and the Steelers. So literally nothing will probably change and we'll hang on to a lame duck coach for much longer than we should.
