Matt Moore Should Start Sunday

They willl play Moore and Feeley, once we are out of contention. Until then you can keep on giving Jake hell/

I agree that is what will happen. But when you know that is what will happen b/c of a QB....you might as well gamble to make sure there wasn't a better option prior to the season being in the tank.

Jake sucks and is stinking the field.

You saying Moore sucks is speculation, as the only thing that is the case in this debate, is that Jake sucks.

Brady was so much better than Bledsoe, that he started over him before he was injured right?

Just because someone isn't starting doesn't mean they aren't better than those ahead of them.

And as dumb as Fox is, that certainly doesn't mean the Panthers are playing the best they have.(see foster>williams)

Why is it that everyone uses Brady as their example of how we should act or not. It isn't as if there is a Brady on every team. Lets look at a more realistic example. What happened when they did bench McNabb last year. Kolb came in and was worse so they quickly put McNabb back in. Sure McNabb played better the rest of the year but it could have gone the other way instead. Then you have 2 quarterbacks who both suck and few options. That is much more likely than the possibility that Moore will play just like Tom Brady.

Probably true. But I know I have given up on this season and the only reason I will get excited about another game this year is if Fox makes a drastic change. Whether that is a switch at QB, who calls the plays, or a change in scheme he needs to do something. But his remark about how Jakes bad play doesn't matter proves to me he will never change.

Easy for you to say. fox likes his 5 million salary and his opinion which is the only one that counts is that Jake still is our best option. given we are on a 2 game winning streak you would be plain stupid to change things as long as we win no matter how Jake plays. And if we go on a losing streak, you guys will see Moore and we will all know whether he is the real deal or not.

I'm not. I know Moore isn't going to play like Brady.

The point is to what you said about the person starting.

The person starting IS NOT always better than those behind them.

Especially when Fox is the head coach.

So you saying Moore isn't the answer or he would be in there is far from accurate.

Really it's just a sad situation all around. No reason to keep Jake in because we know what he is. May as well see what we have in Moore.(because we do not know)

Unfortunately this season is wasted, and we could see if Moore can handle the job while we wait on our future QB to become ready.(Jake sure can't handle it)

Fox has made opinions that guys are right ones for the job and been wrong before. Fox also has flaws.

What is stupid is sticking w/ a QB who almost cost you a win against a horrible Buc team.

So you were totally for Rex Grossman being the starter in Chicago?

Just in general, assuming you don't give a damn about Chicago.

I made this comparison in another thread. The situation is eerily similar. And I want you to look how Orton did once he finally got out of there. Not saying Moore is as good as Orton just at how similar the situation is. He only got his starts (which I'll give you were a lot more) in his rookie season because a injury to Rex. He succeeded then lost his job back to the vet.

If we beat Buffalo we are 3-3 which is only one game worse than we were last year. We had an easier schedule last year but if our running game returns there is every reason to believe we could go on a run this year as well. You gloom and doom folks who quit on the team after 6 games amaze me. We have played just more than 1/3 of the season.

I can't be upbeat and optimistic when we barely beat two of the worst teams in the NFL this season. Call me a pessimist but that doesn't scream we are going to do well this season.

Grossman took them to the Superbowl. If it means sticking with Jake so we can go to the postseason, then hell yeah.
