not at all. Beason felt the coaches didn't address Pep and the defense (which was noted by Jenkins a season early).

Smitty can't be productive given what Fox wants to stay committed to doing and is voicing it. (That is about the nicest way Steve can say Jake is done and you know he wants Fox to man up so he doesn't have to complain about a close friend's professional job performance). Beason and Diggs responding to comments made to the media just further proves this team isn't happy w/ decisions on the sideline.

Could be more proof of that. This constant drama is absolutely not what Fox and Hurney want & they have usually kept it from happening in the past..especially on a weekly basis.

Beason and Diggs were just saying they see things similarly. No matter how involved they are, they always want more and even when they win they want to do all they can to contribute. When they don't they are disappointed. And that is what Smith was feeling when he made those comments.

Smitty was talking big picture, not about a single game. Smitty wants to make plays every week....now why do you think he now thinks he can't do that in Carolina?

imo it is a reasonable assumption based on watching this team that if your team has a QB that in not effective throwing the ball and can no longer lead an offense(and you are committed to that guy) - then Smith would no longer be an asset to that team.
