Sucks for the guy. He was playing really well for us and showed some nice potential. TBH I have never heard of condylar lesions so that can never be good especially when they attach the word indefinitely.

Honestly, nothing surprises me with this team. Something always seems to happen.

MJs damn gambling addiction. He lost some deal with the devil.

Sucks for him and us...did he already sign a contract with guaranteed $$?

Yes he's guaranteed somewhere in the neighborhood of 998K this season and 1.4M? the next.

From what I understand about the injury, it's nothing ligament related so I don't think he misses the whole season. From what I understand about the injury is that it's similar to runner's knee. Something to do with the cartilage in the knee. My sister in law is a nurse and she said, depending on the severity, it could take a couple of weeks to recover, it could take a few months. Just depends. Fortunately, it's July. Hopefully, he can get back by training camp. The word indefinitely, makes things sound longer than they could be. I'm guessing we will get an actual timeline once our doctor's evaluate him.

From a roster standpoint, I don't think we should panic and sign another PG with our final roster spot because I think Graham will be back at some point. That being said, extra depth wouldn't hurt. We have another two way contract left to use so perhaps it makes sense to sign a PG on that to be emergency depth. I think, even if Graham misses the first month or two of the season, Batum, Monk and maybe even Lamb can help take on some extra ballhandling duties as needed.

I mean, having a Yogi Ferrell or VanVleet type can be good.  Graham looked really good from what I saw.

Not a good comparison, good sir. Both of those guys can shoot, Graham did not shoot well at all.

Van Fleet shot 35% as a rookie.

I agree we need to pump the breaks on Devonte but the comparison to VanVleet is not a bad one by any stretch. That's more accurate than most comparisons you will get on this board.

I mean hell, VanVleet went undrafted. It's not like he's comparing Miles Bridges to LeBron James.

I would argue Miles Bridges athletic wise is close to LeBron. Other than that, no comparison. And I hope he becomes VanVleet, honestly.

    • No one called CareBear tonight?!? I'm flabbergasted, simply hornswoggled, downright befuddled!?!
    • The right answer is neither and drafting Maye with the #1 Pick of the 2024 Draft lmfao we traded away the #1 in a QB LOADED DRAFT
    • I have no idea why you are so irrationally upset about the notion that going out and spending $150 million free agency dollars on two interior offensive linemen could be construed as a panic response after our #1 pick we traded a fortune for had one of the worst rookie seasons of the last 25 years. It is objectively what transpired. Dan Morgan as of right now is a mixed bag. Some really good some so so some not so good some bad some really bad. You take any rational criticism personally like you are related to him or something. That's something you'll have to figure out for yourself. Anyways. The predicament Dan Morgan finds himself in for this year will define his future as GM. I sincerely hope he navigates it to perfection. But the circumstances are largely of his own creation. And not just in his stint as GM but going back to his time as assistant GM. Which conveniently people like yourself don't like to talk about. That is the reality of the situation. I like how you will carry water for Dan Morgan to the point of getting into random spats with people but make no mention of Bryce Young's glaring limitations and shortcomings as a starting QB yet go out of your way to put the onus of our struggles squarely on Canales. I mean I've been quite critical of Canales too but he sure isn't the only one to blame for our problems.
