Could we afford to pay what Norman would want though?

Granted, it'll be significantly less than he's getting paid now, but it's also likely to be more than what we have available.

Considering if Washington cuts him.  They will still owe hom a little money i believe.  If not, he already got the big Chunk (the guaranteed $$$) out of that mega deal.

Thus he would probably go for much less.  To a team he loves, under a GM (the one he drafted) he likes.

 

I feel it would be a lock unless Hurney doesnt even offer him

It's possible, but I'm not so certain. There are definitely teams out there who can offer him more than we could afford.

Does he love us enough to forego a few million dollars? Maybe, but that I'd have to see.
