Anyone familiar with Costa Rica?

Wife and I are heading here with another couple. Never been, can’t wait!

So far we are staying a couple nights at the Tabacon Thermal Resort and Spa and will likely book a villa near the beach for a couple nights as well. 

Looking to do some hiking, relaxing, Scuba diving (tons of sharks in these waters!), zip lining, etc...

What other things should we do?

Places to see?

Restrants?

I did a little bit at Tamarindo, pretty touristy there. There’s some nice Air BnBs along the west coast. Are you flying into Liberia?
