CLT issues will be nowhere near as bad as eastern NC....not even close

CLT late this week will be fine. We have gotten very little compared to the coast. 2.5 inches of rain as of now, with about 5-5 1/4 inches total expected. A decent bit of wind but nothing serious.

well thats easy to understand. You guys are so far inland but you are in the most populous city in the state. Probably natural there was a lot of over reaction to the storm.

There was a lot of buzz earlier this week about this storm possibly being Hugo 2.0. That set off the panic alarms and they didn't really subside until today. The storm got here and it wasn't nearly as bad as forecast.

A l ot of tree branches and random debris in my neighborhood but I don't see any structural damage to anyones houses or cars.

Then again I'm in a high elevation part of the town, a lot of the lower places near downtown and other sections of the city have more damage and probably will be experiencing flooding problems in the next few days.
