Eric Washington/Luke Kuechly vs Mike Shula this week

Shula is the offensive coordinator doing essentially what Shurmur did under Chip Kelly. Shurmur says he needs him and he helps develop the game plan during the week, works with the quarterbacks and during the games offers suggestions and play calls situationally.

You think that is worthless and unless he calls the plays it doesn't count. So I will believe the guy doing the job, understanding the system and being in a similar role himself over someone who has no clue about their system who has not coached in the NFL.. So feel free to argue with yourself and your bunny trails like asking about Chud when that was a different role for a different team. But honestly I won't waste more time discussing something with somebody who is in direct disagreement with the guy running their offense which is Shurmur

I’m in direct agreement with Shurmer. We don’t think he should call plays. Same as Panther fans. TB fans. Bama fans. Everywhere he’s coached. Yet, the coach of the #1 offense 3 years ago can’t get a sniff as an actual play caller.

What is the difference between Shula and Scott Turner. Or Shula under Chud? What different responsibilities does Shula have now that he didn’t then. Or that Turner doesn’t now?

And AGAIN.... how do you plan to evaluate any of that? Just feelings?

Boy P55 got all up in your poo. Seems you don't like the truth and come up with some fake facts to validate your ego.

Like I’ve stated many times, every coach on the offensive staff helps with the game plan. Shula doesn’t sit down, draw up a game plan, then hand it to Shurmer. They all put it together. And no matter what Shula or anyone suggests, good or bad, Shurmer is only call that matters. And as I asked, how are you going to properly evaluate his performance?

Shula is the Giants OC/QB coach. He helps with game plans for someone else who calls the plays. Scott Turner is the Panthers QB coach. He helps with game plans for someone else to call plays.

Shula comes up with the game plan and the plays. As P55 said just like Kelly and the eagles did with Shumar. I swear some people act like Shula did construct a #1 offense in the NFL.

I shut you up every time.

You mean like last week when you bashed Hurney about Kalil’s contract? When you still haven’t produced any proof. And I clearly did. I will gladly pull up all the posts so people can see how you crawl away when you get proven an idiot on a daily basis.

Dude I don't need to and honestly why do I? A simple Google search will tell you that. Stop being lazy or bring something that actually disproves my statement.

So Shurmer just picks plays that Shula suggests? That’s what you’re going with. Shula hands him a sheet and Shurmer just calls them in order? That’s hilarious

I want one person to tell me how to evaluate Shula? Anyone? It won’t be you, that much we know. That would require actual knowledge.

So, you're suggesting that the OC has no more or less responsibility for the game plan than the QB coach or OL coach? As to how it gets evaluated, on what basis do you think OCs are hired and fired?

That's some good questions.

In Shula’s case, NO. What does he do that Scott Turner doesn’t? Rivera ain’t helping with the offensive game plan. Who do you think Norv looks to first for advice. Just like Shurmer does Shula? Just like Shula did for Chud.

Results. Performance. And play calling. And the one doing the last one gets the credit and blame.

So you're saying Shula is a QB coach? Like answer the question with a answer not more questions. Or you just making this up as you go along?

SMH dude stop. This is the type of stuff that leads to you insulting me and me getting a warning for encouraging you. Like I said prove me wrong.

Here you go again. Just like when you ignored it the first 5 times you’ve been told about it. I proved it. You walked.

Why don't you just prove me wrong then? Yeah that's because you can't. All you can do is insult me cause you're that pathetic.

OK....here is the EXACT stipulation, in the original contract, only took 2 minutes to find.

  • 2018 Option Bonus: $10M (must be exercised by 3/19/2018)
If not exercised, the $10M converts to salary, and $11M 2018 salary fully guarantees

What this means is Hurney had two choices. Take all 10M against the cap THIS year. Or spread it over the next 4 years. Which he did.  There is not a GM in NFL history that would have made a different choice.

So, there it is. Now, explain what he did wrong? Considering you are the one thatbrought it up, this better be good.
