So I was thinking about this. What if at the end of the year we released Rosario, and Moose(don't get me wrong I like Moose), but what if we released them and Dwayne. Bye receivers and concentrate on Matt Moore and find receivers.

In other words sign some more receivers? Brilliant idea! I never thought about that.....

One question. Why would you have to release Rosario in order to this?

What has he really done this year. The td at dallas. Ok classy, but still doesnt cut it. he has dropped many passes when we needed critical yrds. Put some sticky hands on those gloves. I think Moose is great, but he is getting up there in years. Every game he has taken hits that are putting him in jeopardy. How much more is he going to be able to take.

We need guys to take the defenders off of smitty.

    • I get the sense most folks on this forum skew a little older. We’ve all watched enough football to know the difference between a Hall of Famer and a guy who just isn’t it. If you’re still looking at what Bryce brings and convincing yourself he’s something he’s not, you’re just holding on to the wish that we didn’t screw up the #1 pick.
    • I mean, but, sounds like an old wives tell.....because it's not true.  Lots of QBs have won their first Super Bowl after 5 years in.  IMO I think given the simplistic nature NFL offenses have trended.....there is less of a reason to wait around on players.   QBs make easier throws.  Athleticism matters.  You either got it or you don't.  NFL teams aren't going to build and rely on old NFL offenses because no one can step into those offenses.   So you get your answer relatively quick today given what NFL offenses have simplified to.
