DJ Moore + Curtis Samuel . . . 41 snaps, 6 catches, 86 yards, 1 TD, 8 targets.

 

That seems like pretty simple math to me coach . . .

Reid seemed to be playing mostly high safety, with Mike Adams closer to the box, but I'd have to watch the tape to confirm. Ideally, with TD back, he plays closer to the box and starts taking over coverage duties from Munnerlyn. I had no idea he played that many snaps though.

And yeah, the future of this offense is clearly Moore, Samuel, and CMC on the field together. We could do the exact kinds of things KC is doing with Hill, Watkins, and Hunt. I hope that's what Turner meant when he said this offense is only scratching the surface.

I wont even talk about Samuel, Moore and Byrd vs Fun and Smith

I have to re-watch the game later on, but I feel Armah snaps decreased and I checked, it did. I didn't see him lead blocking for CMC as much this game which needs to happen more

I see Obada snaps stayed the same pretty much instead of increasing. I'm trying not to talk about the starters on the DL not getting to the QB, but I feel the coverage need to more physical and better and give the DL time to get there. The one hit Obada did have, almost a FF, it was great coverage. I wouldn't mind seeing Cox get some snaps

I guess Munnerlyn has been decent, but I feel Corn can play and there's some youth there although maybe less experience.

His blocking was horrendous....or rather near nonexistent.

We did NOT see the step up on defense that so many predicted with Reid at safety.  Hopefully we will, but right now, we are going to have a hard season giving up 30 points a game. 

I wonder how much of this is Washington.  I'd have to check the numbers.  I know we blitzed more last year, but I felt we had a better defense with fewer playmakers.  

They keep slicing our secondary up like a Thanksgiving turkey, meanwhile our passing game has fits and starts until the last 53 seconds.

There were a couple of plays where I saw Smith lined up in the slot.
