whether or not the league is targeting reid, and by extension our team, we should def put that chip on our shoulders the pats are so excellent at carrying around.  us against the world.    i personally think the league would love to catch him doing anything, and the good ol boys network would love to see him fall.   and that includes some refs.   uppity black guy and all.   but we need to galvanize around it as a team.

It

was fair to eject but not necessary.. also there should have been penalties givin to Steelers for the after effect.. it doesn’t matter if Big Ben is one of the faces of the league.. so is cam.. there was no protection on the watt hit.. cam generates a lot of money for the NFL

again flag worthy but not nearly worth the ejection, ben starts sliding when reid starts lowering his shoulder, reid tries to pull up but is too late and catches ben with a piece of his forearm, not malicious, nor enough to send ben to the blue tent of death.only thing reid is guilty of is in those situations just gotta prepare for the slide and get your body away from any part of his neck/head area, we gonna act like the man didn't go smooth things over with ben afterwards and if ben really felt it was malicious i doubt he is patting reid on the helmet or fist bumping him

Reid's just doing his part to help a certain part of his "community":

"The fines collected do not go to the NFL, but instead go to programs for former players. The Players Association and the league have agreed to donate fine money through the NFL Foundation to the NFL Player Care Foundation and the Gene Upshaw Players Association’s Players Assistance Trust.

The Player Care Foundation, an independent organization dedicated to helping retired players improve their quality of life, provides programs and assistance with medical, emotional, financial, social and community issues.

The Gene Upshaw Players Assistance Trust assists former players who are facing financial hardship due to unforeseen crisis, unaffordable medical situations and helps those who wish to go back to school to finish their undergraduate degrees."

If they fine him for the same infraction as Kazee the range is $10,026 to $20,054.  Kazee's infraction was the first time he has been fined and he got the low end.  Reid's history of fines is relatively short (3 times since 2014) but this year he did already get docked $10,026 for unsportsmanlike conduct in the Philly game so I won't be surprised if he gets a bigger bill than Kazee did....especially since the NFL is targeting him".

Because he's a laughably uninformed blowhard who just happens to have an unwarranted podium due to athletic celebrity from which he spews a revisionist history screed on the last 400 years as it relates to blacks and America all of which reflects poorly on our team and local values and I don't like the kneeling and I hope he goes away...

...and as a free American, it's certainly your prerogative to not like my position on it.

Well if that's not the pot calling the kettle black!

Do people really think some owners made Commish Goodell call up the referees and tell them "if Eric Reid hits the quarterback late and in the head don't give him the benefit of the doubt, be sure to eject him from the game".

You really think that's what took place?

I hear Reid is whining about being drug tested for "like the 5th time" since he joined the Panthers...the wording implies something close to 5 times, could be 3, could be 4, could be 5?  That said, don't have much use for Dan Lebatard but this morning he made a pretty good point, if a guy is getting tested that much it's very likely he is already in "the program" for a previous violation/s...as Lebatard put it, "looks like Eric Reid sold himself out there".

As for the "community", what's Eric Reid doing for ours?

Not how these things work in the real world. The refs are just another arm working in the league's interests like Goodell is. And whether it's Goodell or the refs or the owners save Tepper the message from them has been consistent: if you inconvenience us or break the script we want we're gonna make it hard on you. There's no league conference call to plot against Cam or Eric because there doesn't have to be.  Everybody knows who the thorns in their side are.

Not even worth commenting on the drug test if you believe he MUST be a confirmed user if he's tested so often. Look up Serena Williams.

He's raising awareness to injustices against the black community.

This is some truly ugly hateful stuff here.

Should not be remotely acceptable.
