Remember the huge celebrations surrounding our "huge" off-season personnel acquisitions?

We literally got Smith for nothing. Worley has been on two teams since being traded the last 8 months. Not one person is sitting here going “man I wish we had him still” whatever Smith produces is more than what we would have gotten Worley. 

 

I did have higher expectations for Poe, but like it was said earlier, we are seeing defensive play calls that look like Trgo is our defensive coordinator again.

No one was celebrating the Smith trade, it was more like:

Honestly, I never expected him to play that large of a role due to Samuel and Moore. 

Poe has been a little disappointing, but I don't see that big o' deal. At worst he is a marginal downgrade from Star, and his salary reflects that. He takes up space with the best of them.

Anderson, was obviously insurance for C-Mac, and his salary reflects that. The way that C-Mac has been playing, I can live with Anderson on the bench (though, personally, I would get him more involved). 

I was never overexcited about any of these guys,  just analytically thoughtful about the acquisitions.
