I'll probably do one  per week . Heres my first :

Jan 10th

Mainly focused on fixing up the oline , or at the very least providing depth. As with other drafts you would hope for 3 solid starters out of these 6 picks. Love the Winsconsin lineman and both of them could be plug and play.

Zach Allen defintely has an NFL body already even if he doesnt have insane sack numbers. In this mock I did a lot of the premium pass rushers were gone in the first few picks so I wouldve either gone with Zach Allen or Montez Sweat.

Noticed that there are a lot of pretty decent quality Oline players sitting in the mid rounds so that might be very key for us in rebuilding our oline if Hurney chooses to invest in it.

Those OLBs might be long shots but then again they are late round picks which are always toss ups pretty much and don't have good hit rates anywhere in the league picking that late. At least these two dudes I picked have the size and come from good programs.

If you noticed, this entire draft is all lineman and a couple of LBs. For a reason lol.

Round 1 Pick 16: Allen, Zach, DE, Boston College (B+)
Round 2 Pick 16: Cajuste, Yodny, OT, West Virginia (A)
Round 3 Pick 15: Benzschawel, Beau, OG, Wisconsin (A)
Round 4 Pick 16: Biadasz, Tyler, C, Wisconsin (A+)
Round 5 Pick 16: Alfieri, Joey, OLB, Stanford (A+)
Round 6 Pick 15: Van Ginkel, Andrew, OLB, Wisconsin (A+)

First off.  Sweat is MORE than worth the 16 spot.  People complained, ooh he's to small (which at 240 wouldve still been fine at a 3-4, as it is still 10 pounds heavier than Haynes, Burns and Polite)

He came in at 252 yesterday, which is only 7 pounds lighter than a favorite on here Derek Barnett.  The same Weight as Ngakoue who has been a stud in Jax, its the same weight of Danielle Hunter in Minn.  At 6'6 He's the same height as Pep.  And his arm length was lomger than guys like Pep, Davenport, Taco Charlton, Myles Garrett, etc.  He has the speed off the edge, but people dont realize his power

Round 2

Jenkins

We are losing our franchise Center.  So what do we do.  Grab what some say is the top Center in the draft.  Bradbury is good as well. And more athletic.  But he need to strengthen up.  Bradbury was quick to read and pick up blocks, but when bull rushed he got pushed back a few yards.  Jenkins is still a good athlete, but real good at run blocking as well with his strength.  Which is what we need in a offense that likes to run the ball

 Round 3

We need to find a guy at that 3-4 DE now.

Come in Charles Ominihu

Ominihu- is athletic and has a nice frame.

At 6'6 275, people dont like him at DT in a 4-3. Also he hasnt showed the bend etc on the edge for people to like him as a 4-3 DE

He is a shoe fit for a 3-4 DE, which we will need.

He has a quick first step.  Has power and good athletic ability, and is still learning.

In some drafts hed be mid to high 2nd.  But this is a deep Defense draft so he will drop.

Pick 4.

Chris Lindstrom

Big mean powerful OG

Pairing him with Jenkins and Turner makes a HUGE difference to the OL.

This is a pretty deep interior OL class.  I Got him here.  But it would be worth waving a future 5th rounder to move up if needed

Round 4

Jalen Jelks

Couldve gone elsewhere as we have other needs.

But we need help rushing the passer.  We need help im a new scheme.  We need help in youth movement

Jelks is a 3-4 OLB.

Super quick, tall, and long.  Dude really caught my eye in practice.  He fired into the backfield with ease, wouldve been a sack before the QB stopped his dropback

Round 5

Mark Fields

We need major help at Nickel.  Captain was a hige liability.  Fields is solid there.
