You really think this D could hang with the Colts, Saints or other high octane offense? I don't.

no i don't. i think/know the bucs and bills offenses are the 2 worst in the league. maybe throw cleveland in there as well.

face it, you stink, we stink just enjoy the games.

We are 23rd in points allowed at 24.2, 28th in Ints with a measly 3, and 32nd in passes defended with only 19. Sacks are a little better, ranking 12th with 15 and in FFs we are 7th with 8.

Lets wait until we plays some teams with good passing offenses and look again in a few weeks.

Total yards for what it is worth is a crappy stat to tell you what is really happening.

That's because no one has to throw the ball against the Panthers. They're 24th in the league in passer rating (91.3) and 12th in yards per attempt (6.6)

You look at who's number 1 in passer rating at 54.6, they're 14th in passing yards per game because teams are throwing the ball 12 more times a game against them then they are against Carolina. They're also #4 in passing yards per attempt (6.1).

The objective of a teams defense is to stop the other teams offense and so far this season we are the best against the pass and and 5th overall not matter what the haters say we are that good on defense.

Special teams have gave up scores, so that aids the defensive stats. We have been turning the ball over, giving the other teams a short field to the end zone, and thats makes the defense stats look good also. Stats are for losers, and thats what we are!

    • Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.
    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
