Scot been in his feels the last few weeks, just ignore the guy an move on.

Like you just did? :)

Look dude, if you lose a debate, move on. Obsessing over someone in unrelated topics just makes you look silly and petty.

People talk about BPA as if it's a rigid philosophy. It really isn't.

It doesn't prevent you from picking a need. If you have two or three players with the same or similar grades (which is common) and one fits a need while the others may not, you take that guy.

What you don't want to do is reach for a need. That's when you have two players, one clearly superior to the other, but take the inferior guy because you have a need at his position.

That typically winds up being a mistake, and sometimes it's a huge one.

Greedy Williams at 16 then.

Mentioned it elsewhere: there's talk that Williams might actually fall all the way out of the first round.

If that happens, I don't know that he'll go that far. Kind of hard to imagine him dropping to the 16th pick in the second.

It would be awesome to get him at 47. But if he’s still around the late 20s, I would start calling teams for a trade up. Package 47 with the 100. Greedy could be a FS if anything fails at corner in the pro.

He's an interesting case.

I can't recall a top prospect having no team visits whatsoever like he had. I think maybe he had one visit near the end of the process or something like that, but prior to that, nada.

Not really sure what to make of that.

Yep, that’s what I keep saying— square schemes that try to grab only players that fit there or try to make players fit there are busts waiting to happen.

example— Clowney and Houston. Perfect example of inflexible and stupid.

draft the best players then adjust the scheme to help those players do what they do better and you will be a genius— Belicheck ha.
